Everyone gathers Zip and Zap and Y/n as Stoick and Spitelout eyes are wide as they realize what dragon it is.... It's the dragon that Valka saved Y/n from when he was only 5 years old when he wandered off following a boar that was playing with him. She lived but it left him injured no scars but trauma he doesn't remember but if you remind him he'll suffer from it. "Wow it's a hybrid mix with a zippleback and a snow wraith!!!" Fishlegs saying jumping in excitement as Meatlug wags her tail excited to make a new friend "Y/n can you tell where you were and how did you train a Zipplewraith?!" Hiccup says shocked and in awe that his cousin return "well I heard a roar and went to an island nearby and saw them stuck on a trap suffering from the pain and when they finally let me help them they trusted me to be their rider now" Y/n explains petting the dragon's heads as they make a purr noise
Later in the morning at dawn
Everyone hears wings flying through the air and see Y/n up with the zipplewraith and a saddle that has some gronckle iron to hold it's form, Gronckle iron seat for him, and the saddle being full leather but black leather as he holds a rope in both the dragons mouths (like how Thornado's saddle is) doing tricks as he whoops in victory grabbing his sheep, Lamb Lamb, with the dragon who then throw Lamb Lamb in the air as she looks a bit terrified but trusting her owner as he catches her which causes everyone in the village to cheer for him "that's my boy!!!" Spitelout says in joy smiling ear to ear and Snotlout having a look of jealousy yet admire. Jealous due to how everyone will always favor Y/n even when he just stands there zoning out when he is bored and admire due to how his brother will become one heck of a rider
Later on at the Jorgenson household during sun set after Y/n and his dragon flies around doing his duties
Snotlout pov
"Son, I must say you are definitely going to be one heck of a viking dragon rider!!" Dad says ruffling Y/n's hair as the two laugh while I watch from my corner with Hookfang watching as jealousy rises in me. Everything is him it's always been about him later on I take a walk with Hookfang "everything is him!! Everything little thing he does he gets all the glory while I am right here trying yet still isn't good enough to impress anyone while all he can do is sneeze and suddenly everyone is cheering him on!!" I tell Hookfang who stares at me once we get to the academy to meet with the others by the time we get there I hear the gang talk "so guys what do you think should we add Y/n part of the group?" I hear Hiccup say to the others which makes me pause "yeah!! Y/n can learn from me and Ruff about the pros of owning a dragon like a zipplewraith!!" Tuffnut shouts which makes me start to fist my hands beginning to hear cracks from the knuckles "Yeah we can learn so much about the Zipplewraith, Zip and Zap!" Fishfeet say as I hear his dragon roars in excitement then I hear my crush Astrid "yeah let's add him in we can teach him a few moves!" "Then it's decided we will talk about it with him!" Hiccup says making me growl and turn around walking about as Hookfang follows
Hookfang pov
As much I don't like being honest here it upsets me seeing my rider be upset because his brother getting the attention don't get me wrong I enjoy the guy's company and all but I can tell he too hates the fact that everything he does is something everyone worships while his brother gets shamed for everything
