Deetz Home No POV

Remodeling of the house was going as there was moving trucks, construction equipment and the house started to look very different. Many of the townsfolk came to see what was going on as Wade was outside with Lydia.

Otho: yeah. Put it up. Come on. Careful.

Delia: you see, if you tell me what you do, I'll tell you why my husband will fire you.

Adam and Barbara were watching from the attic window as they were really desperate at this point.

Barbara: isn't there an index or something?

Adam: no, nothing. Alright, now. <flips through the pages as a paper fell out> what's this? <grabs it and opens it>

Delia: no, no, I'm sorry. That does not go there.

Lydia:<taking pictures>

Wade: so you like photography?

Lydia: I do.

Wade: I'm more of a painter myself.

Lydia: right.

Delia: you people know where that's going? Did anyone tell you where to.. why are there only three sculptures? There were four sculptures here. Where's the fourth? Where's the fourth sculpture? <looks up> no! No, what are you doing? Excuse me. Put it down.

Attic

Adam: "Betelgeuse, the bio-exorcist. Troubled by the living? Is death a problem and not the solution? Unhappy with eternity? Having difficulty adjusting? Call Betelgeuse." Betelgeuse.. Betel..

Barbara: that's it? There's no number or instructions?

Adam: nothing. The bio-exorcist. I-I don't get it.

They hear more crashing.

Otho; straight back.

Delia: why is that still up there?

Kitchen

Charles:<comes downstairs> why don't you guys, uh, take a break for about half an hour, okay?

The moving men followed his orders and walked out as he closed the kitchen door. He grabbed a kettle and filled it with water as he grabs a teabag. His little relaxing moment got interrupted when the fourth sculpture broke the window.

Charles: Jesus Christ!

Delia: what are you doing? Put-put that down!

Charles:<pokes his head out the window> what the hell are you doing out there?

Delia: listen to me. No! <gets trapped by her own sculpture> aah! Why are you doing this to me? This is my art and it is dangerous. Do you think I want to die like this?

Lydia kept on taking pictures as Wade laughed at Delia's misfortunes. Lydia looked into the attic window and could see Adam and Barbara.

Wade: Lydia? Lydia!

Lydia:<jumps a little> what?

Wade: you okay?

Lydia: I'm, um...

They heard a car honk as they see Jane arriving in her car.

Jane: hi. How are you?

Wade: this woman...

Wade started walking towards Jane's car as Lydia looked back at the attic window and saw Adam and Barbara gone so she followed Wade.

Barbara: that little girl that is with Wade saw us.
