Unfortunately, Biology wasn't the only class the senior flunked. He had to get another credit in order to graduate, so he thought the language was a good idea. Specifically, German with me. However, I wasn't going to give him an easy 'A'. He figured this out in week one. So, I was forced through this class with him breathing down my neck. Thankful, I also had Pony here to answer Dally's questions.

"What do you mean there are pronouns for objects?" Dally's voice boomed through the class and earned a few stares from our classmates.

"You have to pay attention to the gender of the object."

"Fuck this!" I shook my head and continued with the classwork. The class went by fast with a lot of Dally cussing.

When the bell for lunch rang, Pony took my arm and we walked into the crowd.

"We gotta find Johnny." I let him take me around to find the shy boy. We eventually located him standing in line at the cafeteria. We merged into the line with him and he and Pony jumped into a conversation.

I took a moment to scope around my surroundings and I spotted Maria and Dallas. They seemed to be talking about something important. Maria's hands were glued to her arms and Dally had his hands in his leather jacket pockets. I followed my brother and Johnny to a table where I began to peel my orange while watching Dally and Maria still. Pony nudged my arm and asks,

"What are you looking at?"

"Dallas and Maria. They are talking pretty seriously."

Pony looked over and said, "You think everything is okay?"

I shrug. "I'm not sure." Dally and Maria left the cafeteria, abandoning their trays of food on their table. I finished the rest of my food and I excused myself from the boys. I went out the doors they did and I looked out into the hallway. It was mostly empty with the occasional student walking around.

"Who are you looking for?" I jumped and looked back at the towering blond.

"Dallas, uh...no one."

He bends down to meet my eye level. "No one? You're looking around awfully suspiciously, man."

I straightened myself and I looked into his eyes. "I'm not looking for anyone. But I will let you know when I'm looking for someone."

He chuckled. That beautiful breathy chuckle would send my brain into a spiral. "Come on." He took my arm and walked us toward the parking lot.

"Where are we going?" I inquire. He kept quiet as we went to a car. I've seen him drive it a few times. It must be Buck's car. He opened the door for me and closed it when I was in. I have never seen him act like a gentleman around Sylvia. No opening and closing doors. Not even standard doors. He's more like the kind of guy that would slam the door in my face.

He circled around the car and get into the driver's seat. He started the car up and fixed his mirrors.

"Come on, Dal. Seriously, where are we going?" "Out of here." He pulled out of the parking spot and sped down the road.
