GOTN Chap 17 - My Big Bros

As son as we got there, I heard screaming. "OMG VEIRO!!!!" One of them yelled. I just stood there shocked. So did my parents. "I do not understand why people scream a singer's name every now and then." He said.

"STAY THE HELL AWAY FORM MY BROTHER YOU DUMB FAN WEIRDOS! NO HUGGING!" Another voice yelled. "Are you a fan of him or what?" Jake asked. "ALL MY BROS ARE HERE?!" I yelled in shock.

All the screaming stopped after I yelled. Oh gosh- That's embarrassing! "VRIEYA!!" My big brothers yelled as they rushed to hug me. "HEY YOU GUYS SAID ONLY MAIRE WAS COMING!" I complained.

"Mason decided to surprise you. Which was a stupid idea." Veiro replied. "Still emo as ever bro." I teased. Maire glared at the fans one more time hahaha. Then they all noticed Jake.

"Greetings, guardian's older siblings. I am her bodyguard Jake Kerolen Arascire. I reassure you that I will protect your sister with all my might." He said as he bowed.

He used his real name! "Oh look Vrieya's body guard is the son of Maire's idol" Veiro said. "A pleasure to meet you Mr. Arasc-" Before Mason could finish both him and Maire were shocked. "Arascire...?" Maire finished. "Okay... So Vrieya's bodyguard is the prince of Kaizishia and the son of Maire's idol" Veiro added.

"Your highness!" Both Mason and Maire bowed. "Oh we doin' this now. Okay." Veiro said as he bowed. Our parents were also shocked. And bowed. Oh gosh I feel so bad for Jake. He just stood there looking all confused.

"No need for formalities. I am just the guardian's bodyguard." He said. "Uhm... Okay everyone, shall we get going?" My mom asked. "Yeah let's go before Jakie boy here get's more attention from anyone else here." I replied teasingly.

"It would be appreciated that I do not get attention." Jake added. All the way home my brothers were still shocked. And I thought they would go mad and overprotective of me but it's the total opposite.

"I will go sleep." Veiro said as he carried his bags to his room. "No one sees it, but he's the one who's mostly tired out of all of us." Mason said. "Need help getting your bags up bud?" He asked. "I'm not a baby." Veiro replied.

Hahaha. "So uh- We didn't do a proper introduction. Jakie, meet my older brothers. Here's Mason, he's the C.E.O. of um whatever his company name is." I said.

"Pleasure to meet you Mr. Cesaire." Jake greeted. "You to your highness." Mason replied. Ugh formalities. "No need for formalities Mr. Cesaire, please call me Jake." Jake added. "Of course Jake." Mason replied.

"No more formalities you say? So you're gonna stop talking fancy or that's just for my bro?" I asked teasingly. "I just suggested that there was no need for formalities. That doesn't mean I will not use any." He replied. "Sheesh okay." "Well Vrie forgot me so, I'm Maire. And you two seem close." Maire said.

"Yeah I forgot you cause you spend most of your time in the military!" I complained. "Not my fault" He replied. "You chose military little brother, so it is your fault." Mason added.

"See! I'm always right." I teased. "You all are nerds" He said as he lay down on the couch. "And you're dumb just like mom!" I added! "You three are a bunch of weaklings"! He tried to tease us back.

"Fair, but unlike you, we have bodyguards. I mean every Vrieya has!" Mason teased. He just glared at us. Hahaha. "It's pretty early in the year, so you guys can really stay?" I asked.

"Yeah pretty much. Our dumb commander wanted us to rest for the war." Maire replied.
"WHAT WAR?!" Both me and Mason yelled in worry.
