"It's not going to sound very conventional, but I think we should split up to minimize the amount of time we spend searching." You stopped everyone from moving further, proposing your idea to them.

"That doesn't seem that bad. I doubt they can seriously hurt us, so it wouldn't be terrible to split up." Rock agreed with you, already teaming with Nico and Uno.

"Uno-kun, Rock-kun and I can go together since our strength together makes up for the strength you and Jyugo-kun have." Nico swung his arms around the shoulders of Rock and Uno (having to jump to do so).

"That sounds fine. What do you think, Uno?"

"I just want to leave."

"Alright, all good then. Have fun, you three!" You waved to them and walked with Jyugo to the left room.

Jyugo grabbed your hand the moment you approached the doors to the room, aiming not to lose you somewhere while inside. He's never been very affectionate, including handholding - it's not necessarily to be loving, he mainly uses it as an excuse to keep you close to him.

"We'll be fine, right?" You opened the doors, seeing nothing but the dim, buzzing lights overhead.

Jyugo frowned when you let go of his hand, not sure if it was the best idea to split apart in one of these rooms. Especially when both of them always find themselves in trouble.

Let's see, candy corn, candy corn . . .

You tried scanning the room but the lights were too dim to actually make out much of anything. The only noticeable aspect were the office desks littered around the room like it's been abandoned for a very, very long time. The legs of the chairs were barely hanging on, as with the metal keeping the desks together.

You bent down to pick up one of the many papers around the floor, out of curiosity.

"You've made it to Room 2. Which paper has the candy corn?

P.S. Watch out behind you, hope you're a fast reader :)"

You heard a click the moment you finished reading, pushing Jyugo out of the way as arrows shot from behind both of you. Both of you scrawled to your feet again, scurrying to opposite sides of the room.

"The candy will be on one of the papers!" You shouted the edict to Jyugo, hopefully in the direction you thought he was in.

"What?" He shouted back to you, not clear on what you said.

"The papers! One of them has the candy corn!"

"What papers??"

"The one's under your feet!"

"There's only two under my feet!"
