Season 1 Episode 8: Con Job

Miko Nakadai's pov

It was a normal day at the base, while if helping a bunch of aliens from a different world is something you called normal. Me and Bulkhead were heading to where everyone else was. I was sitting on his shoulder as I tried to keep an eye level conversation. "All right, chores are done. Now can we do some dune bashing?", I asked my favorite bot with one of the actives we do together. "I don't know, Miko. Last time I spent a week picking sand out of my articulators. But there's a monster truck rally in town.", My bot friend. I nod knowing that it might be better to go to a monster truck rally then for him to be picking out sand. Just then the doc bot called Optimus. "I'm receiving a signal on a restricted band. It appears to be coming from a starship inside this solar system.", The old bot said everyone started to crowded around him. We all watch see that there was a little earth shape on the screen with a ship flying straight into our orbit. "It's an autobot identification beacon.", Ratchet stated while we all looked at the screen. "So there are other bots out there?", My dear friend Jack since we thought they were the only five here. "The masses scattered to the galaxies when cybertron finally went dark. But Cons have been know to bait traps with false beacons.", Acree said while being telling us all it could be a con old trick. Seems about right, the cons wanting to trick the bots to helping out a fellow bot. "Unknown vessel, this is autobot outpost Omega One. Identify yourself.",  Optimus said while looking at the screen. Just as any one would start a conversation they came back in. One thing first, I didn't know the base had a name, but I guess it does now. Anyways were were we. "I've had warmer welcomes from Decepticon combat brigades",  The other bot or con said from the the other side. Bulk jumped when he heard the voice and forgetting that I was his shoulder! I gave him a glare since I could have fallen to my death.  "Wheeljack? You old con crusher. What are you doing all the way out here.", Bulkhead said as hr rushes closer over towards the screen going pass people. "Bulkhead, that's you? What's up with all the security?",  This so call Wheeljack asked while not thinking there was others in the room. "The rock we're on is crawling with cons. How soon can you get here and even the odds?", My bot friend asked while getting excited for his friend that was visiting over. "Sometime tomorrow, if I put metal to the pedal.",  All I could have thing was that we're getting a new crew mate on our team. "Another bot coming here, how cool is that?", I said while Bulkhead nod to my statement. This was going to be cool! More bots to hang out. "Wheeljack? I know of him by reputation only. Can you verify his voice print?", " Optimus Prime asked. You think being the head leader of the autobot you'll know who all is on your team. "He is 1000% the real deal.", My bot friend said while looking at the tall and mighty bot leader. "I feel like this will come back to bit us in the butt.", I heard Alex said, but mostly likely to herself. "We will send landing coordinates. Wheeljack, safe journey.",  Optimus said while hoping the best for the new bot. I mean we all due since this is brand new news for all of us. Just think how far we came from. "See you soon buddy. I'll make sure you get a proper welcome.",  My guardian said as he was acting like a child on Okinawa Memorial Day. It was good to see this side of him. You don't have to be all tough and stiff like Optimus. "So? who's the boyfriend",  Arcee asked while looking up at Bulk to mess with him. Bulk turns around facing while laughing a bit. "Me and Jackie go way back. We were part of the same war unit the wreckers. Which means the cons are gonna wish he never found us.",  Bulkhead said to while getting a little bit in his head. I'll be the judge of that.
