Season 1 Episode 13: Sick Mind

Another day at the base of the Autobots. Where all the magic happens. What can go wrong this time. "Optimus, you're not going to believe this. I've just pinpointed the location of the decepticon warship.",  Ratchet said while looking at the screen. From behind them was the rest of the crew as long as the kids were there too. "How did you penetrate their cloaking technology?", The prime asked since it seem impossible for them to do at the time. "I didn't. I was experimenting with variable frequency wavelengths when I stumbled upon them. Even still, their ship must be experiencing some kind of electromagnetic breach.", The doc bot said as he seem to see that they're dealing with some issues. As the screen shows where the cons may be and how far the journey is. Not normal for con to just give up something that important. "With Megatron deceased and the element of surprise.",  Arcee started as she gotten an idea of what the five of them could do. "We could cause some serious damage.",  Bulkhead finished. But then another ship, but much smaller then the war ship showed up. Not to far from the warship, but far enough to no be seen. "Also on the same frequency an autobot emergency beacon.", The doctor said while looking up at the screen. It was a choice between then five or four of them going in or helping out some bot that may or may not be a trick. "The decepticons can wait there may be autobots in distress.Ratchet bring your medical kit.",  Optimus order since number in size does matter to this point. Another side of a Ground Bridge portal opened up, making it unknown who will come from the other side. Just before it closes it up. Optimus and Ratchet walks out of it. Seeing that ship that once thought was broken down into pieces. "A crash landing buried here for centuries.",  The leader said as he looks at how old the ship is. Once they were able to get close enough to even get in. The prime uses a laser to cut a hole in the side for them to be able to walk in or out. As they walked down the hall to find some bot at least alive. They used their headlights as a flashlight. "If they traveled in stasis mode there may be survivors.",  The doc bot stated as it could be one way or another. Meaning that how long ago when the ship crashed. The two continued on walks, but the ship started to wobble as they walked forwards. They took each steps carefully as the place might crash down on them. The saw a door that was close and went to open it up. Optimus opens up the door since the power not been used. Once it was fully open and locked in to stay open; the two duo continue walking in more like some teenagers when they see abandon place. They stopped once they say some bodies rusting away one floor. Some with energon still come out of them, but not the normal blue we see. The prime looks around as he had some thought that might have happened. "Optimus, these autobots didn't perish in the crash. They're displaying the effects of a virus.", Ratchet said as he kneeling down to once of the deceases. He scans it seeing there was no harm that the ship has done to them. "This is a plague ship.",  The leader said as he looks around and knowing what has cause the lives of them to go out. He tries to take one step forwards, but soon stopped by his old pal. "Don't touch anything. The virus could still be active.", The doctor said as he was talking to a little child. Before they could move back to where they came from, the ship started to shake again. This time more then the last, causing the two of them to be pushed in the wall. Optimus was able to stand up and looked up seeing there was a body hanging. Two little drops fell onto him before he knew it. The prime tries to shake it off, but there was no use. "No..",  Ratchet said as he watches the whole thing play out. 

Back at the base, Optimus was under care as the virus was taken over him. Rust was forming as his eyes started to flash meaning it's almost the end. Ratchet put the a scanner over him to see if he was correct about the virus. "Cybonic Plague.",  The doc bot stated as he looked at the scanner. The other three bots looked at each other knowing this wasn't great for the team. "It's only contagious if contact is made with the infected energon.",  The doctor shared more about the plague as it seem to only infect by touch. The kids all looked at each other knowing that it not normal to hear about a sickness. "What was a plague doing in an autobot spaceship?", Miko asked since it something she never thought of. This worried them all due to that trouble they been through this wasn't on the list "Its passengers were infected the virus wiped out millions on Cybertron during the great war.", Arcee explain more from how many that were killed by it. This made the doc bot turn around and face all of them. "Cybonic Plague was engineered in the Decepticons Biological warfare program. By Megatron, himself.",  Ratchet said as he turns to look at everyone. "You have a cure, don't you?", Raf asked since this is what humans do. Fine a cure for a sickness, unless it's impossible, then cure the ill. The doc bot was about to say something, but soon stopped when a groan of pill came from the week prime. "No cure.",  Optimus said as he looks up at the kids. "Optimus please. Save your strength.",  The doc said to his old pal that was on his dead bed. This gave Jack an idea or something that might help them all out.The sister was confused by all this. "Why would a con go through some much trouble to make a virus to kill off the Autobots, but no make a cure to save his own. Why does everything have to be confusing.", She said while rubbing her head liked she had a head. "The kids does have a point there.",  Arcee said while agreeing with the human teen.  "Why would Megatron create a disease without having a cure? I mean what if he caught it by accident?", Jack since it made no sense why a con create something so deadly that there's no point. "It's not like we can ask Megatron, Jack. He's pushing up lug nuts.",  The wrecker said as he noted the con warlock was dead and there's nothing that they could do. "We might be able to access the Decepticons' database. For the moment we still have a fix on their warships location.", Ratchet stated as he goes over towards the computer to see if there's anything. "Bumblebee, come with.",  Arcee said as the two of them were ready to set to take care of this mess. "Arcee, quickly.", The doctor said as he see the signs of the plague cover coming the prime.
