Wanda had been in Kamar-Taj for a while. The Sorcerer Supreme was trying to teach her methods and restraint just like he had been taught not so long ago. At first, she didn't want to listen to anyone. The girl knew better than anyone how to use her powers. The monks' magic wasn't even the same as hers. Her mind, clouded by her neverending revenge, started crumbling upon itself. Slowly, Wanda was retiring within herself, in her own makeshift world where she was with Vision happy, living in a house with a white picket fence. She had been talking to herself a lot, or to her dead brother.
Stephen Strange had called Vision to help a couple of times. Maybe if Wanda could talk with the real Vision, her mind would come back to reality. It didn't work. The android didn't know what to do or how to feel about her anymore so he asked Tony for advice. The logical part of his mind had thought that he could make her realise that she should change her ways, make her understand that the path she had chosen wasn't good for her or anyone around her. His heart, if he had one, almost wanted to believe love could cure everything. Vision had tried. There was no reaching her. They had already grown apart, even before the fight against Thanos. He wouldn't deny the feelings he had for her once, they weren't there anymore.
Tony had never been too good at expressing feelings but he would do his best for his son. He wouldn't be like his own father, Howard. The piece of advice he gave the android, he had to learn that himself not too long ago, very painfully. Keeping everything to himself hadn't worked too well for Tony. The genius understood the need that Vision had to help Wanda but ultimately, she was responsible for her own choices. Despite what Rogers thought, she wasn't a kid. Vision had already tried his best for Wanda, it was time for him to think about himself. He couldn't lose himself in that never ending task. People who didn't want to be saved couldn't really be helped.
"If she is losing her mind, there is not much you can do about it, Vision." Said Tony. "Your presence did not help her that much. Wanda didn't even realise you were there. She's already gone. But if you think it's something you have to go there, then go. Go and settle everything as much as you can for the last time."
Giving advice was a difficult thing. Tony couldn't help feeling responsible for the outcome of that last meeting. He didn't exactly like Wanda but he didn't really know what to think about her mental state. She had always been a bit unhinged, her logic a bit childish. The witch had been manipulating so many minds. There was almost an irony in the idea that she had lost her sense of self in the process. The madness might have always been there. Who knew? Vision wanted to know if there was a scientific reason to attraction, in his case, if Wanda's powers maybe would want to be reunited to the mind stone, like another half wanted to be whole again. Hydra had used the sceptre on the twins, giving them abilities in the process. They had tried on many others before, it was a miracle they had survived the procedure in the first place. The theory had its merits. The attraction between Vision and Wanda had been so immediate, so intense. The android knew nothing about love or even life the first time he had seen her, second after his birth. For a logical being, his reaction had been anything but. The Avengers didn't know that much about the infinity stones, their nature, how they had been created, by whom. Tony thought it could be possible. Anything was possible.
The Sorcerer Supreme should know more about the stones. He was the guardian of the time stone after all. Kamar-Taj didn't know any better but Wong was definitely looking throughout the library to find anything he could. A lot of people were actually looking for answers around the galaxy. If anything to make sure that it couldn't happen ever again. That question might unfortunately be left unanswered forever. Vision had decided that he wanted to stay away from Wanda for now. Tony wasn't too fond of magic himself nor did he like Wanda all that much.

FanfictionEvents of Too Little Too Late from Tony Stark point of view. Tony is going through depression throughout the begining. He will have suicidal thoughts. I don't think it is too graphic but he wil be better in the end.
