Goodbye

You made me smile
The timbre of your voice
The throaty laugh
My heart huff and puff.

My heart somersaulted
Beats spiked and troughs
Busy as buzzing bees
Restless as ants could be.

Days were all sunny
All the flowers bloomed
All butterflies flew
My life is a garden of hue.

I sang unfamiliar songs
All the noise blended into tune
The litters were all treasures
The nights had so much pleasures.

Getting to know was over
There were lies to cover
Alibis and stories to tell
Time was so luxurious to sell.

Sad, there were countless tears
And pains I couldn't care
I stayed to make you whole
Until I lost my soul.

It was a roller coaster ride
Thought the emotions I could hide
The truth revealed itself
It was all a game of chance.

The rope said my goodbye
No letters or a sign of cry
Tight, pained but I smiled
Finally, goodbye!
