Curtain Call

Those times when you were living in the confines of the greens.
Or the colorful garden embrace you too tight
You felt your chest was bursting from too much pressure
You felt so ecstatic. Euphoric. Nevending happiness.

It made you crazy.
Compromise sprang from your vocabulary.
Yes was always on top of your priority.
Despite you could have said maybe.

The box was filled with it.
'Twas once empty and rusty.
But with all the thread of happiness
You filled it with memories.

No more cold night
No more empty embraces
Words have meaning
So as the songs became music.

But twas not a loop afterall
There was a point where it started
And the knot at the end
So now, rather hello, I said bye instead.
