For this I can't hide
The pain I have in stride
I long to see your face
And engulfed myself in your embrace.
I have denied myself
The love you offered
Too small to be an elf
Too big to be altered.
To feel the depth
I am not inane nor inept
I want to have it all
Pour me love then I'll fall.
I can dance to the melody
Sing the lyrics though in awry
Offer me forever and a day
I'll say I do and forever I'll stay.
