[3rd Person POV]

???: "(N/n) was what?!!!"

The speaker, now revealed to be Akame, is quite obviously surprised.

Akame: "Did she realize he was with Night Raid?"

Lubbock: "It didn't seem like she mean any harm, just kinda knocked him out and carried him, and not in a rough manner, swift and gentle. I swear if he's swayed her."

Sheele with a finger to her chin: "Swayed her?"

Tatsumi recollectively: "Gotten her to like or love him. Damn, I really wish I could've fought in that tournament, hand-to-hand with (Y/n) looked like it would've been fun!" Tatsumi punches the air a bit.

Leone: "We only saw that he was taken to the palace...I know you want to go after him, but remember, he can handle himself quite well. Regardless, what do we do, stand-in boss?"

Mine stepping forward a bit: "I say we just trust in him, he's earned some confidence in us from the times he's directly saved our lives. Besides, you don't really think you're going to break into the palace right? Even under ideal conditions that'd be hard and we're down two members. Heck, they might not even know it's him."

Akame looking at Murasame: "I would say we should trust him, if Budo didn't already know his face. Remember who killed him?"

Leone, Lubbock, and Mine: "Shit."

Sheele: "The general right? With the bunny hair?"

Lubbock slightly shocked: "Surprised you remembered him."

Sheele: "Why would I forget the one who killed one of my friends?"

Lubbock backing off a bit: "Fair point, but ya know..."

Leone while turning to Akame to redirect the conversation: "Anyways, what's the call?"

Akame has been deep in thought throughout this, and focused on her blade, as the rest notice this, they understand why.

Akame: "It had this inscription somewhat recently, though (Y/n) didn't bring it up so I just took it as advice."

Akame points to some newer, refined and neat writing on the blade. It states 'Trust in me'.

Akame: "But this... *gestures to some newer, more scrawled writing* ...is new"

Engraved in the blade are the following words: 'Esdeath doesn't know, gathering info, don't try to rescue, watch, will clean up sword, luv you, writing from distance sucks, trust'.

(The last few words were written as they watched.)

Akame sighs: "I don't want this, but we have to trust him, because the our other option is a head-on assault, without Najenda's strategic abilities."

Akame looks up to see everyone staring with seriousness.

Lubbock smiles before saying: "So, stalking your cheating boyfriend it is."

Akame slightly uncertain: "He's not cheating, he was dragged against his will..."

Lubbock: "But a woman like Esdeath..."

{At the Palace}

(Author's note: I didn't really specify what the mc was wearing, but he's probably wearing a coat similar to Tatsumi to cover up any armor he might have and to conceal weapons like Honed Edge a bit. Some metal shin guards and pauldrons as well.)

(Y/n): Hopefully they understood the messages, that was a royal pain the ass, strained me quite a bit.

Esdeath: "Tensing up are you? You woke up sooner than I expected, you really are something else."
