Man, I've got to stop passing out was all I thought as strong hands held up my armored self. Well, there was also some severe cheek pain, but that was to be expected.
{Timeskip}
Awakening to what I hope is the following day, I notice that my armor is gone. Looking up from the soft, fleshy pillow my face is held against, I see the briefcase that holds the outer layer is off to the side of the bed. Said bed currently holds myself and Leone. The pillow is her chest.
Anva: Resting well are we?
Well enough, please don't watch what I see all of the time.
Anva: I don't plan on it so don't concern yourself with it. Your memory is a library filled with foreign media, so suffice to say that I'm more than occupied.
So it's a Veldora and Rimuru situation huh?
Anva: That seems like a fair analog. When you get the chance, take a minute to converse with me about something.
Sure, enjoy your reading or whatever you're doing.
Anva: I will.
Leone is slightly roused by my movement: "Mmph, don' move 'round zo mujch, lez sleep..."
She pulls me tighter against her chest. Not willing to challenge her strength, I enjoy the comfort of her embrace. Her soft skin and breasts, her loving arms and chin resting on my back and head respectively. The sound of her heartbeat is audible, and the natural rhythm of her breathing is calming as I lay on her.
I reach around and under her to hold her body as well, which is a welcome surprise to her.
So warm.
Soon enough, sleep takes me and I dream of going to the range with my dad, dueling with Father, trying my best to not shout at (S/n) in anger, and laughing together with the elite eight. My slumber is interrupted by a vibration in my right pocket. After a few dazed moments, I recall why and wake up Leone, asking to be released.
Leone: "You make a good body pillow."
Me: "You said that yesterday, but they have those here?"
Leone: "Of course..." she goes to the closet and pulls out a pillow about as tall as her.
Me: "Ah, miscommunication, thanks for the compliment?"
Leone: "You can thank me by letting me sleep with you more, didn't you have somewhere to be though?"
Me: "Yeah, gotta meet up with Kuro-chan, but that can happen later today."
I walk over to the suit case, hold a hand over it to help with the focusing part, and out comes Hawk's Sign, into my hand. I move some bullets to my hand, reshaping them to fit the gun and taking some stored gunpowder to add to the rounds. Then, I unlock the cylinder and fling it out. I unload the six spent shells by taking out the moon clip, replicate a clip of my own that I then insert with my new set of bullets, and sling the cylinder back in.
Leone walks up to look at what I'm working on, latching onto my arm: "A revolver? Why would you need one of those? It also doesn't seem to be in your style..."
Me: "Courtesy of the jerk who filled me with lead and holes."
I gesture to my metal-covered right cheek.
It has healed a small amount and the metal has receded as the skin has grown back slightly, like the metal is kinda functioning like a scab, as if it's alive. My chest has also healed somewhat, bruising is still there, but any broken ribs and bones have been realigned from what I can feel. Seems fatal injuries are prioritized.
