Do not own any of the characters or places mentioned, I am just having a bit of fun with them for a little while!

This story was written in correlation with MagicofNarnia's posted prompt list, which also does not belong to me.

In this story, I have decided to introduce my OC character, Alexander, or "Alex" as he prefers to be called. Now, the only reason why he will not be included a whole lot in these prompts is because his first official story is not finished yet, though it is well underway. Only thing is, Alex and the others have been begging me for days about giving him a some of his own stories. so, I have decided that he will have at least five, and I might mention him a couple times too. The only thing you need to know about Alex for these stories to make sense, is that he came with them through the wardrobe with the others,  and that in the golden age, the Pevensies have unifacially adopted him. I hope you all like Alex as much as the Pevensie's and I do.

Edmund was on his way back home after going to see the beavers when the snowstorm hit.

It was bitter cold outside with the temperature bellow freezing and the snow was falling thick and fast.

He had just decided to try and find shelter, when from out of the snowy curtain that surrounded him, staggered a familiar figure; it was Alex!

Quickly dismounting his horse, Edmund caught Alex, just as he was about to fall.

"Alex, what are you doing out here? The others are probably worried sick about you!"

That was when Edmund noticed the nasty looking, bloody bruise on the side of Alex's head, along with his dazed and confused manner.

"Alex, what happened to you?"

Alex replied slowly, "I was out riding when my horse threw me, and knocked me out. When I woke up, it was snowing hard, so I dragged myself up, knowing the alternative would have been to freeze to death."

"Well why don't we find some shelter so that I can take a look at your head, you got a nasty bump there." Edmund replied.

"That's a good idea." Alex agreed with a shiver, which did not escape Edmunds notice.

"Do you have any idea where we could find some though?" Edmund asked.

"Well, I do know that there's cave near here, if I have my bearings right, which may or may not be correct at the moment."

"Well let's try it anyway sense we haven't got anything else to do."

Alex nodded to show his agreement and indicated that they should go left.

And so, they had been walking for about fifteen minutes when they found the cave.

Edmund laughed in relief saying, "See Alex, you were right! Come on let's get inside before anything else happens! I guess it's a good thing the two of us met up, otherwise we both might have frozen to death."

Alex just gave him a tired grin and added, "I mean, it not like I had anything better to do anyway!"
