I Do not own any of the characters or places mentioned, I am just having a bit of fun with them for a little while!
This story was written in correlation with MagicofNarnia's posted prompt list, which also does not belong to me.
Edmund age, 15
"Alice! Alice!" Edmund shouted at the top of his lungs as the snowstorm raged around him.
He squinted his eyes, desperately trying to catch a glimpse of little Alice.
He turned up the colar of his coat as far as it would go, trying keep out as much of the cold as possible.
"Alice!" He shouted again.
"How do I manage to get myself into these things?" Edmund muttered.
He had been trudging through the snow for an hour now, looking for Alice the rabbit, "Yes, a rabbit", and he had not seen hid nor hair of her. " Pun intended!"
Apparently Alice was a quite an adventurous little thing for one so small, and she had been outside exploring her snowy world, when a sudden snowstorm hit.
Edmund been riding nearby when her mother had asked him for help.
And here he was, an hour later, and still with no little rabbit to be found.
Suddenly he heard a faint call and he quickly looked around, hoping it was the aforementioned rabbit.
It was, or rather he hoped so, sense it did appear to be a little rabbit that was waving it's little arms at him.
It was huddled under a tree, which, fortunately for him, had enough room for him in their too.
After getting himself situated under the tree, having left his horse behind to better search for the small rabbit", he turned to the little rabbit and asked, "Is your name Alice?"
The little rabbit nodded her head and asked, "Who are you?"
"I am King Edmund and your mother sent me out to look for you."
The little bunny's eyes widened in surprise and she said, "Oh, forgive me your majesty, I did not recognize you."
She bowed, as only a bunny could, and continued, "My mother did not need to send you out though, I'm not lost."
"You aren't? well, were are you than?" Edmund asked with a raised eyebrow.
The bunny looked at him very solemnly and replied, "I'm right here."
"Yes but, where in Narnia do you think we are? You can't find your way home again if you don't know which direction to go. And that requires you to know were you are. "
The bunny continued to look very solemn and answered, "we're right here."
Edmund pursed his lips and replied calmly, "Well than how would you get home again?"
"I don't know."
"Well than, that means you're lost." Edmund replied triumphantly.
"No I'm not. I'm right here."
"And were is that?" Edmund asked.
"Right here."
He was starting to get exasperated with this little ball of fur. "I mean, how is it that this little ball of fur, who is half the size if my brain, sounds smarter then I am?"
"There's nothing wrong with being lost in a snowstorm, Alice, it happens to everyone. But either way, let's get you back home, shall we?"
They left the cover of the trees and Edmund said, "You should ride in my pocket, that why I won't loose you in a snow drift."
"Ok."
Gently, he picked her up and put her into his pocket, and set out.
They got back to Alice's house about half an hour later, and deposited themselves in front of the fireplace.
And when her mother asked about what happened, Alice and I only started arguing about whether or not she had actually been lost in the snowstorm, or not.
