Laying in the drive-shed pouting Ella watches Vladimir leave. Annoying her most wanting to go for a ride in that car.

Returning with sacks of animal feed garners Vladimir further forgiveness, allowing Ella to reopen her thoughts of possible good things.

When he finishes with the feed she watches him go inside the farmhouse. Should I go over there?

She almost stands, but he leaves, with a full container of the turkey. Annoyed at both she snorts. Not only does he leave, he takes all that turkey.

Listening to him leave lasts twenty minutes until she can no longer hear that car's purring engine.

Too quiet Ella sighs finalizing a decision, to coherently, converse with Miles.

Standing Ella meanders to the farmhouse to place some fresher clothes in the handbag. Managing to consume more of the cooked, turkey within the time.

After the sun sets she finds herself once again looking up at Miles' building. This time she only looks long enough to see if being watched. Crossing the street she hopes something comes out of this visit.

Upstairs her knock on the door is promptly answered by Adan, "hello lady are you feeling better today?" Catching her on surveillance he was ready for her.

"Oh hi Adan." She smiles peering inside, "that's why I came by I wanted to thank you for the water. I really needed that. And I wanted to thank Ida for allowing me to sleep in her chair." Spying Ida watching, Ella waves, "hi Ida, thank-you. Is your Papa or mom here? So I can thank them as well?"

Ida shakes her head no, "they're both at the hospital still. Did you need help with something or something?"

"Oh okay," Ella shrugs thinking she'll venture over to the hospital. "Maybe I should talk to them there."

Her words suggest to  Ida something interesting is on the mind and about to ask Adan aids her.

"Did you want to come in and wait?" Thinking Ella as pretty and not a threat Adan opens the door wider,  "we were about to make tea."

"Oh sure," curious and willing Ella goes with it stepping inside the apartment, "thank you, I would love a tea."

"Okay." Adan closes the door before returning to the kitchenette.

Ida Points out the rocking chair, "you can sit in it again if you like. But can I ask you something?"

"Okay," Ella shrugs sitting in the rocking chair, "thank-you. What would you like to know?"

Inquisitively Ida sits at the dinning table propping her head with a folded arm. "I heard you, the first night you stopped by." She points to Adan getting a third mug set up, "Adan too, and he agrees that you're here for something important. At first when I heard you talking about our blood I thought real creepy stalker stuff right there. But when you came back lost the other night we both think you're looking for something. Or someone."

As they wait for her reaction Ella's pleasantly surprised, "I am." She's just not sure what to say.

Pouring hot kettle water into a ceramic teapot Adan has to ask, "are one of us your children?"

"Adan," Ida grumbles at him hoping for a more tactful approach but does watch how Ella responds.

With a big smile Ella would proudly be a mother to either one, "no. But I wish I was. I've never had children of my own." She wasn't expecting that question at all. She can see the kids are content with the reply.

Neither child saddened by her response Adan is relieved, "we're use to Papa Myles and Mama Lori anyway, I didn't think I would want to go."

Studying Ella's thick brown shoulder length hair Ida points to it, "something about your hair reminded me of someone I've seen before. And it is the same color as mine."
