Back at Miles place he wasn't surprised Ella had left, merely hopeful things work out for her. Adan almost forgot she was there until Ida mentioned it. In her youthful thoughts debated if sunlight negatively effects Ella. Ida figures a research trip to the library on Werewolves will be how the day is spent.

Being hungry Ella won't even remember changing going right into hunt mode when it's over. She ends up spending most of the morning taking down and devouring small critters.

Vladimir's unable to sleep with thoughts weighing heavy on the mind. After their change Filomena's in a better mood and would like more time with the man. Distracted the man knows his heart won't be in it, yet.

Able to tell and understand Filomena allows him to slip away with her car. Her 'acquired' automobile impresses Vlad enough to pull her in for a quick hug and kiss to the lips before leaving. Leaving Fil with a smile Vladimir joyfully hops into a blood-red sixties, Ferrari Stradale, convertible coupe.

As Vlad contently rumbles down the driveway, Filomena watches with anxiety building within. Praying he doesn't have a wolf to deal with.

When rolling up close to the farmhouse, Vladimir quickly stops and turns off the engine, listening to the surroundings. Passing breezes rustle trees and leaves obscuring the quieter noises of the barn animals, "Ella?" Studying the house he softly calls out once more, "Ella?"

Cautiously exiting the car he eyes the house. Well if she was waiting for me, she'd be out here charging at me. Leaving the keys in the ignition and the door ajar Vlad backs up towards the barn. Give a quick check on the animals and then check the house.

Seeing what looks like the same number of animals Vladimir quickly tosses in some feed for both pigs and turkeys. Recalling the cooked bird he checks on it after.

Their farm property near cleared of critters the wrapped bird is still intact; flies are beginning to appear.

After a safety taste of the meat, Vlad feels safe enough to try another bite of the still warm meat. The taste says try a few more bites.

With great care Vlad enters the main house to wash up.

Seeing the house empty Vlad is able to break down the turkey carefully; anything questionable goes to the pigs, he splits the rest into three groups. After filling a large freezer bag and stowing it so, the remainder is split in two. Storing most of the meat in two large rigid plastic containers.

After stowing the meat in the refrigerator and much in the belly, Vlad takes the scraps to the pigs to finish tending to the animals.

Picking the stalls Vlad's reminded not only would a real change of straw be welcome, the food for them is running low.

When in the turkey pen he observes the egg is yet to hatch. Hoping its still alive inside Vlad leans on the pick's handle studying the egg. A lot of work to be done to actually keep these guys alive, just to eat.

Going back to it Vlad tops up the water troughs. With the winds picking up he decides to close up the barn.

Inside the house he drinks down half a cup of water eyeing the computer.

Sitting down in front of the computer he flips up and on the screen, staring blankly waiting for the messages to appear.

When the desired message window reproduces he stares right past it, unready to type. Hands arched over the keyboard he waits for a signal from the brain to begin. Knowing what has to be put down will be the hardest thing ever left for Ella to read Vlad drops a shaking head onto the table. Rocking the forehead his hands clasp the sides of the head to stay still. They end up rocking him into a haze fighting the decision to be made.
