Sliding the rifle aside on its' sling, Roy reaches for a hip holstered .45 colt handgun.

The wolf bites firmly onto the back of Filomena's loose sweater, then drags Fil back towards a tree for cover. Jeez what are you all of ninety pounds? Think your gun weighs more. Thanks for the thought by the way, taking that bullet for me.

Gazing back Filomena has a close up of view of the wolf's face. Making eye contact Fil sheds a tear from more than pain, "thank-you Ella. Does this mean you like me?"

Oh just shut up would yah. I'm trying not to get us shot here. Glancing back Ella sees they've just a few feet to go.

Swiftly sighting the females Hoss takes aim on the wolf's head. He fires as Ella turns to pull a bit quicker, BANG! The bullet sent buzzes right past Ella's canine ear.

Not allowing Hoss to get off a further shot Vladimir has Roy sighted with Ella's discarded, notched, rifle. BANG!

Vladimir watches long enough to witness Hoss collapse onto the porch, then turns his attention to Wyatt.

With Manuel, Ned and Jim attempting to advance up the hill Wyatt's attention is on them. BLAM, BLAM, BLAM!

Managing to get Filomena behind the tree Ella lets go, to see who shot Hoss. Viewing Vlad sighting up Wyatt she lays next to Fil.

Sure of the shot Vladimir pulls the trigger. BANG!

Hit to the back of the head, Wyatt slumps over the guns. Gravity pulls him down into the Hummer; His jacket sleeve caught on the machine gun keeps the body from going all the way down.

Those in the village no longer hearing the gun fire hold up and listen. Just about to join the fight Jamal and Mary-Lee ease outside.

Having finished patching up a badly wounded man, Miles is perplexed. Thankful he didn't chance getting shot is disappointed some for not doing any of the shooting.

Manuel, Ned and Jim continue a cautious ascent up the hill. As they didn't shoot anyone aren't sure why it's so quiet. As they glance back to the village they can see fellow members slowly revealing themselves. A couple of them, a block apart, shrug to each other. Most thinking, "they've just run out of ammo for the big gun."

Grabbing up the shotgun with the long-gun Vlad hustles over to the ladies, "you two okay?"

No I got stabbed a few times and Fil is shot here, the wolf pants at him.

Seeing him coming with all the guns Filomena pictures him as a real life action hero, "I don't know? I'm shot in the right side. Poor Ella got shot or stabbed back there. She saved me at the river... You know I could've used one of those guns earlier."

Setting the guns down Vlad kneels between them. Stroking Ella's head he looks over Filomena, "thanks ladies." Fil's wound needs attending to, but he knows it's survivable, "well you can have one now. But why don't you keep that rifle, since it's unloaded."

"Ha ha Vlad, not funny," Filomena winces in pain, "I hate getting shot."

"Me too." Vlad turns to Ella looking the wolf in the eyes, "Ella are you hurt? Do you need help?"

Duh! She just told you, jeez Vlad. Will you ever listen. She stands to show the blood dripping from the wet and dirty belly fur. What do you think?

"Oh my Ella," as Vlad turns more towards her Filomena takes notice with a sympathetic gasp.

Looking within the wolf Vladimir inquires, "will you allow me to stitch that? Now? Or do I have to chase you and risk being bit? Again."
