"we've been calling her it just goes straight to voicemail" a nurse said
"is there another number" the doctor asked
"nope just hers" the nurse said
kaceion was woke the doctors couldn't believe it he had woken up
"hey mr.woods can you hear me .. how many fingers am i holding up the doctor said holding up 2 fingers
"uh.. 2" ace said trying to sit up
"just lay back okay im gonna get you some water" the doctor said sending someone to get him some water
"where's my girl" ace asked looking around
"we're trying to find out now" the doctor said

i had my phone powered off for 2 days straight because i didn't wanna hear from anyone
today was my first day cutting it on i had a bunch of text from a bunch of different people lots of notifications from my socials and a few missed calls
it was one number in particular that had kept calling me i thought about it and decided to answer it
"florida hospital how may i help you" the person on the other line said
"hi this is janae yall called my phone over 30 times in the past two days i was wondering what was going on
"um is kaceion woods you spouse" she asked
"yes" i said confused
"doc i finally got her on the phone" the girl yelled
"hey .. hey is this kaceion's girlfriend" she asked
"yes... this is she" i said still super confused
"good ! girl we been trying to get in touch with you forever" she said
"well i have some good news for you but also some bad news" she continued excitedly
"what would that be" i asked curious
i mean i just lost the love of my life what good news could she possibly have for me
"well it's ace , he's up and he's actually been doing well these past two days and he wants to see you" she said as i dropped my phone
"but the bad news is he's not going to be able to walk probably never will be able too" she said
"omg omg" i said excitedly
i ignored the part about not being able to walk because my baby is strong and he will walk again no matter how long it takes they said he wouldn't make it either but here he is
i jumped out of bed hurriedly trying to find something the put on
"um are you okay miss" i heard as i ran back to the phone
"yes yes im fine i'll be there in 10 minutes tell my baby im otw" i said so excited i started to cry
i fixed my hair and tried to cover the bags under my eyes i had been crying so much i didn't want my baby to see me like this
once i looked decent i put on something nice and defined her curls

"where you going you look cute & happy..... that's so odd" jakia said sitting up looking worried holding a sleeping amira
"im going to get my man baby" i said grabbing the keys heading out leaving jakia confused as ever
about 10 minutes later i was at the hospital i got out going inside talking to the lady at the front as she led me to ace room since he was in a new one
once i got in his eyes lit up as i started to cry
"omg" i said hugging him
"ow ow" he said
"i sorry bae im so sorry" i said quickly getting off of him
"you good mama just take it easy he said
"im ready to get you outta here , when can i" i asked looking back at the doctor
"you'll be able to take him home tmr" she said
"thank good man i've missed him" i said
"doctor can we have a lil privacy ace said as the doctor nodded heading out
"so about the pregnancy" ace said causing my eyes to widen
"you heard that" i asked
"yes i heard all of y'all i need you to call everyone and let them know btw" he said as i nodded
"you think we gone have another girl or you think it's gone be a boy" he asked
"i don't know i want a boy though" i said as ace nodded
for the rest of the day i called people letting them know he was up some came to visit some said they would wait
we talked a bit more then i decided to leave and go home
i got home and seen mira and jakia sound asleep on the sofa

"nie what if my baby roll off" i mumbled grabbing her taking her to her room so i could clean the house up for my man to come home
