"ace you good" i asked hearing something fall

"ace" i said running upstairs seeing ace throwing things everywhere

it's something he had been doing normally since he'd gotten home he was so frustrated about not being able to walk the first few days was good but one night he went ts and woke up and shit was totally different

he had been having random outburst whenever he couldn't do something right sometimes he'll even have episodes or wake up out of his sleep drenched in sweat

"baby stop" i said as he threw something else

"janae get out please" he asked

"no kaceion listen" i said walking a little closer

he looked at me before dropping what was in his hands

i grabbed his hands so he could stop shaking then i hugged him tightly before pushing his wheel chair into the room i helped him up and got him into the bed

"what you wanna watch" i asked he didn't say nothing

he also goes silent for days sometimes i figured today was going to be day one

i sighed before just putting something on then i went and started to clean the bathroom

i stopped hearing amira cries she must've woken up from her nap and was hungry

i no longer had jakia helps he had went back off to college so i was now alone and stressed out

i was so happy for ace to get back now i just don't know it's like i'm not even with ace anymore

i went a picked mira up before heading down stairs to get her a bottle

i sat downstairs feeding her watching power before i got up taking her upstairs with me laying her besides ace

"da da" mira said as ace just stared at the tv not even acknowledging her

shit hurt me bad , i blame myself everyday but ace made sure to let me know it wasn't my fault

i just shook my head continuing to clean once i was done i grabbed amira heading back downstairs so i could get some work done

i barely get any sleep so like 20 minutes in i had dozed off with mira sitting in my arm

"JANAE , JANAE , NAE NAE" i heard causing me to wake up because it sounded like ace was crying

"yes ace" i said wiping my eyes

"he's back .. that's him right there" ace said pointing to the wall

"ace there's nobody there" i said holding mira

"no come come look right there" he said as i went beside him looking at where he was pointing

"i don't see nothing" i said

"YOU .. it was you , you did this to me" ace said looking at me with his eyes filled with pure evil and disgust

"what do you mean kaceion" i asked scared

"you're the reason i'm like this" he said

"ace please" i said as he grabbed my arm tightly

"let go kaceion" i said

"NO" he said grabbing my hand tighter

"KACEION STOP" i said as he finally let go before pushing me into the wall i now had a mark on my arm

this was new i didn't know what to do plus i had my baby he had never touched me before or said anything like that to me so i was confused

i pray everything gets better for us though i really wish i had a parent to comfort me rn i thought heading down stairs as mira cried

i was done with dinner and we were all eating with nothing but the sound of love and basketball playing in the back

"nae.. im sorry" ace said with his head down

" i never put my hands on you and i don't plan on starting now so please forgive me i promise it won't happen again i wanna get better and i wanna go to therapy and i'll start taking my meds because i wannna marry you soon so i gotta get right for you and the sake of our kids mira and the little one growing inside of you" he said as a tear slid down his check

"i forgive you ace and if you ready then you know i'm down" i said

"i love you baby girl" he said

"i love you too" i said finishing up my food giving him a small smile
