12 - Mornings like this

*Mia pov*

It's been two months since Chris asked me to be his girlfriend and things couldn't go better between us, Grace is also very accepting of me and her dad being together she just makes a silly face whenever she sees us kissing.
Today is Sunday and I'm home from work, Chris and I don't have anything planned but since I'm finished cleaning my house I decide to go to his.
"Good morning!" I say once he opens his front door
"Hi sweetheart" he responds kissing my lips softly
"I made breakfast for the three of us"
"Thank you! Come on, let's get in the kitchen"
When we get there I see Grace already sat down waiting for food
"Morning sweet girl"
"Mia!"
I kiss her cheeks making her smile more and she kisses mine back
"Who wants breakfast?"
"Me me!"
I take out the Apple pie I made last night and Chris cute it in slices
"Coffee?" He asks
"Please"

We spend the rest of the morning cuddling on the couch and then we make lunch together while planning what to do in the afternoon.

We end up going to the park and spend about two hours there just having fun and running after Grace. Once back home Chris takes a shower while I look after his daughter.
For dinner we order pizza and watch a movie, after Chris has put grace to bed he joins me on the couch.
"I actually wanted to talk with you about something"
"What is it?" I ask
"In two weeks is going to be Grace third birthday, I'm throwing her a little party. My family will be here, a couples of her friends from school and I'd love for you to come"
"Chris...of course I'll come, I wouldn't miss her birthday for the world!"
"Thank you, I know it's going to make her really happy and it makes me happy too" he says kissing my temple
We cuddle a bit more and before we know it it's two in the morning. I kiss him goodbye and go back to my house, taking a quick shower and lay in bed, sleep soon taking over my body.

*Chris pov*

I go to bed after making sure the door is locked and once I'm under the covers I take my phone and send Mia a text
