I open my eyes, slowly, and see that it's 7.00 in the morning of the last day of May. I turn my head and look at a sleeping Chris, I start to rub my hand up and down his naked chest making him stir from sleep. "Mhm" "Good morning" "Morning" he says looking at me and bringing me closer "today is the last day of school" "It is...we better hurry up" I say starting to get up "Mhm no...where are you going?" He says bringing me back to him and pulling me on his lap. I look down at him and smile "Only a few more minutes" "Thank you" He kisses my hand before moving up the bed so he's sitting, leaning his back on the wall. "You know what I can't wait for?" He asks "What?" "For you to be pregnant and to marry you" he says softly "I can't wait too" "Oh yeah?" "Wipe that smirk off your face Evans" "Nope!" We laugh but then he gets all serious and starts kissing my neck "Chris" "Yeah?" "We gotta go" "No..." His hands ding my waist and he grinds my hips down to his "Chris I'd love to but we're gonna be late..." "But baby..." "I know I know, later I promise" "But later won't be until tonight..." he whines pushing the straps of my tank top down, exposing my chest "I know, but we can't" "Ok" he says pouting "sorry" "You don't have to be sorry, if we had more time I would have loved to make love to you" "No I wanna make love to you!" After eating breakfast together we all get in the car and go to the school. "Are you excited for the last day of school baby girl?" Chris asks "Yeah!" "You do sound excited!" I say "Should we go to the Legoland discovery center today?" "Yes, pwease!" "Ok! Here we are!" Chris says We get out of the car and make our way in, Grace in between Chris and I holding our hands. "Hi Grace!" "Hi Mrs. Tilly!" Grace says "Good morning" we say to her teacher "Morning!" "Be a good girl, we'll see you at three" Chris says crouching down to her level and kissing her cheeks "Bye sweetie" I say kissing her head instead "Bye!" She says already running off to her little friends.
For the remaining of the morning Chris and I go grocery shopping and while we are at the mall we also get some lunch for the two of us. "What's Thai Legoland discovery thing?" I ask him as we eat "It's a discovery center full of legos, there's a little Lego Boston too. Kids can build whatever they want, it's so cool. I always wanted to bring her cause we both love legos but she was too little, and now that she's four she can go" "Oh that place must be so fun!" "It is, I went with Miles and Ethan a couple of years ago and they had so much fun"

"Look at all those legos!" I say impressed by the quantity of legos around us "Can I go build?" Grace asks us with her big blue eyes "Sure!" We sit near her and watch as all the kids meticulously choose the right Lego pieces to build the perfect thing. After some time she shows us what she did and it turned out to be a pretty good princesses castle as she called it. We stayed there for about three hours and as soon as we buckled her in the car she fell asleep, only waking up once we told her dinner was ready around 7 pm. We ended the evening having a tea party in her room before it was Chris's turn to read her a story. "Night night" we tell her as we step out of her room and switch off the light.
We get in our bedroom and after we both brushed our teeth we head to bed "Don't worry I have very intention of keeping my promise!" I tell him as I watch him take off his t-shirt "Yeah?" "Uhuh" He hoveres over me smiling as he start to undo the buttons of my shirt. One of his hand goes on the small of my back lifting me against his chest and proceeds to kiss my lips a few times before descending to my neck and then all the way down to my stomach, leaving a hot trail of kisses that keeps going lower and I close my eyes to better enjoy the moment.
Until...
"Chris...Chris stop. Stop stop stop!" He's quick to stop and come to face me as I pull myself up "What? Are you ok?" "I...oh god" I run for the toilet and empty my stomach contents in the bowl "Oh sweetheart!" I feel him keep my hair back with one hand and he uses the other to rub my bare back. "I'm sorry" I stay still, leaning over the toilet for a couple more minutes, making sure I'm done before I let Chris help me up. "Here" he says lifting me to sit on the sink counter and starts to brush my teeth softly looking into my eyes and my face in search of any sign of discomfort "all done...let's get you to bed" He picks me up and I soon feel the bed under my me "Take this off I'll grab a shirt for you" he says signaling to my bra He goes through his t-shirts drawer and picks the one I like the most "You'll be comfy in this" he says slipping it on me and making me lay down after propping up two pillows, then he gently takes off my pants and joins me in bed turning off the lights. "I'm sorry Chris..." "Ehy ehy...none of that. It's ok, I just want you to be fine, I don't care about that" "Thank you" "No need to thank me...how are you feeling?" "I don't know..." "If you won't feel better in the morning I'll bring you to the doctor" "I'm a nurse Chris..." "I know, but I just want to make sure you're ok" "We'll see, maybe it was something I ate today" "I love you mia, I'm here if you need anything" "I know, love you too" "Get some rest baby" "Mhm" I snuggle up to him and soon fall asleep, sure this wasn't how I wanted to end the day, but having a his arms around me, making me feel safe it's not bad at all.
