18 - Everyone knows

*Mia pov*

It's the next morning and I feel the sun on my shoulder peeking from the slightly open curtains and it makes me turn to a still sleeping Chris.
I softly rub his chest making him stir.
"Good morning handsome" I say and kiss his cheek
"Mhm...morning babe"
His hands have been around me for the whole night and now he draws me even closer to him
"Are you ok?"
"I am, never been better and last night was really awesome"
"Yes it was" he says smiling and leaning in to kiss my lips
"As much as I'd like to stay in bed with you all day I know you got something planned" I tell him
"I do...we do. Lunch with the cast before everyone goes back to their own cities"
"Should be fun!"
"It will be!"
"We both got to shower" I say starting to get out of bed and as I do I feel his eyes on my naked form
"Don't stare, you creep!"
"But I've seen it all..."
I laugh at him and after getting clean underwear I walk to the bathroom leaving the door open
"Is that my cue to follow you in the shower?" He says from the bed
"I got no problem with that...after all you did hit home base last night"
"Home base? That's sounds so unromantic!"
"Ok...after you made love to me..."
"That's more like it" he says standing behind me in the shower "I'll keep my hands to myself, I promise"
"I won't mind you washing my hair..."
"I can do that"

After taking a long shower, long not because we did things, only cause we wanted to relax...we both got dressed and walked out the hotel, sunny L.A welcoming us.
We actually walked to the restaurant where we are going to meet part of the cast, some of them had to go back home earlier this morning.
"It's gonna be us, Rob and Susy, Paul and his wife Jennifer, Lizzie, Jeremy and of course Kevin Feige and Joss Whedon"
"Cool, let's get inside!"
We walk inside and are welcomed by a young man
"Welcome, do you have a reservation?"
"We are with Mr. Downey" Chris says
"Of course, I'll show you to the table"
We walk into e pretty secluded are of the restaurant and see that the rest is already there
"Thank you" we both say to the young man
"At last..." Robert says
"We are not late..." Chris replays
"Just kidding"
We sit down and order our lunch and drinks before we start talking.
"I'm not sure you met Joss and Kevin last night" Chris says introducing me to them
"Pleasure to meet you both"
"Our pleasure" Joss says
"You guys...you got something different..." Lizzie says
"We do?" Chris asks
"Liz is right...you guys are glowing"
"Well I mean it was her first red carpet last night I bet Chris rewarded her..." Jeremy says
That makes us both blush
"Look at 'em blushing!" Robert says
"Shut up..."
"He hit home base" Jeremy says
"See people do say that" I tell Chris gently pushing him
"I don't wike it"
"Fine, sweet love making" I say making the table laugh
The lunch went very smoothly, we had a good laugh and I absolutely loved spending time with them.
Now it's time for us to grab our bags and go to the airport.

"Bonnie is going to call me later and ask for details..."
"Bout last night?"
"Uhm...I told her I wanted to do it and she encouraged me. I know she's gonna ask, but don't worry I won't give details"
"Thank you"
We smile at each other as we reach the hotel, our bags already in the lobby ready to be loaded in the cab we are taking.

It's only been two days but
I've missed that girl a lot!!!

"Your mom just texted me"
"She did?"
"Yes, she said I looked gorgeous last night and that she can't wait to have us there tomorrow and also that little grace missed us"
"Aww"
"That was so nice of her, I love your mom"
"I'm glad you two have this type of relationship"
"I need someone like her"
He kisses my lips softly and we stay in silence for the rest of the ride to LAX.

The flight home was quick and soon enough we find ourselves showered and cuddling in my bed, making plans for the next few days.
"Oh when we got in I picked up your mail" he says grabbing it from the night stand and handing it to me.
One it's bill ls to pay and the other is blank, just my name and address.
I open it and recognize my high school logo.
The school is throwing a party with all the students and teachers for the headmaster who's retiring and the end of this school year.
"I'm invited to my high school party for the headmaster retiring"
"That's new...never heard of such a party"
"Me neither but it should be fun. It also says to bring your other half and kids are welcomed..."
"Interesting"
"What do you say...come with me, the both of you?"
"You know what, I think it's a good idea, do something different"
"I won't pressure you"
"No it's fine, I want to meet your school friends"
"It's a date then!"
"Yep!"
After discussing a bit more about that we fall asleep easily because of how tired we were.
