After driving away from the hospital it was time for me to pick up my little girl. I reach the school and get inside with other parents and soon the little kids come running down the corridor "Daddy!" I hear her scream I lower myself and catch her in my arms kissing all over her face making her giggle "Hi baby! Did you have fun?" "Yeah!" "Good, should we go eat?" She nods her head and as promised I drive to a little restaurant where sometimes we go eat. It's her favorite place because they make the crispiest croquettes in Boston and she loves them.
"Welcome Chris, hi cutie!" Mike the owner tells us as we walk in "Hey Mike, got a table for us?" "Follow me" he says starting to walk, he shows us our table and then asks if we want the usual and after a nod of my head he proceeds to deliver our order to the kitchen crew.

Once we finished our lunch we made our way home and as I drive up my driveway I see to people sitting on my steps, two very recognizable people. I park and pick up a sleepy Grace and walk to them "Hey Dorito" "Hi Rob, Scarlett. It's good to see you both!" I hug them and let them in, they kiss Grace head before I put her down for a little nap and then I go back into the living room where they made themselves comfortable. "What are you guys doing here?" "We decided to surprise you! We were around here for a couple of things together anyways, so..." "I'm happy to see you" I tell them sitting down "So...how's life going?" Scarlett asks "How's yours with a newborn in the house?" I ask her "It's good, she's five months now and she's the cutest, she likes to giggle a lot" "I loved that phase" I say "I really hope Rose and Grace will be friends" "Me too, I can't wait for them to meet" "Anyway, how you doing?" Robert says "Good, today was Grace first day of school" "Awww" "She was happy when I picked her up" "It went well!" We talk about the next avengers premiere and things related to work and then have a little snack once Grace wakes up around three. For dinner we ordered some Chinese and then watched a movie, I went to put Grace down to bed and then came back. "We do me get to meet her?" "Mia? I think she has tomorrow off, ill ask her if she would like to come over sometime in the morning after I left Grace to school" "Good, can't wait to meet her!"
At one in the morning I drive to the hospital as Mia was already waiting for me outside, shiver Ming from the cold "Hey sweetheart, hop in let's warm you up!" "Hi, thank you!" "How was work?" "Good, nothing too bad happened today" "We'll that's good to hear, listen I've got a couple of friends over as I told you before, they'd like to meet you" "Work friends?" "Yep" "Marvel related?" "Yep" "Tell me who they are" "Scarlett and Robert" "I'm about to meet them?" "Uhuh, if you want too" "It's not like I meet stars everyday, so yeah!" "So you like them more than me?" I ask her pouting "That's not what I said, are you jealous?" "I'm not, I was just messing with you" "It was t funny...when should I come around?" "Anytime in the morning?" "Ok, we could have lunch all together if you guys don't have other plans" "I don't think they have plans for lunch, I'm sure I don't, I only have to pick up Grace at 12.30" "Perfect, I'll cook something and bring it over"
We arrive at our houses ten minutes later and we both get out of the car. We share a long hug before I let her go in, waving her goodbye and sending her a kiss.
