Chapter 3: The Wandering Traveler. Limited Space...and Time

Yus' PoV

The last Filater fell to the ground by a hit from Mazoku's bullets, at the same time Yoshika's spear disappeared from my hands. The corrupted wolves merged into the ground as their Essence fleed

Cody:"Whew, that was tiring..." Exclaimed Cody holding his own spear in hand

Mazoku:"Hisako's not playing anymore, to send Corrupted Filaters..." Said Mazoku as his dual guns vanished, sighing with confusion

Yus:"He must want us dead, though...can Hisako really make Filaters? I thought those were originated from the Faction of Faith and not this one"

Mazoku:"There's only one explanation in that case" He stared above to the edge of a building, making me follow his gaze

Over the same building, a girl stood holding a giant hammer, the shape was one we could recognize all too well

Yus:"Sora..."

The Pillar of this Faction jumped from the building, landing infront of us while her giant hammer was in her hold

Cody:"So that's Sora..."

Sora:"I came to congratulate you, you're not as lame as i thought, Pillar of Creation" Said the Pillar of Dimensions, extending her hands to the sides with a neutral smile

Mazoku:"Stay back Yus, i can handle her"

Sora:"I'm surprised you broke through my dimensional barrier so easily, right in time to help at that, you're formidable Mazoku" Along her words, she held her hammer with both hands and got into a stance

Cody:"They'll fight!?"

Yus:"Mazoku, let me help-!"

Mazoku:"Denied! Get out of here while i can hold her off!" Said in desperation Mazoku, wielding his guns again, it was obvious that he wouldn't stand much of a chance without a reliable way to get rid of corruption...

Sora however, gave me a smile...not a menacing one, rather, a kind one

Sora:"I'll let them off, however you and i will have to face off Pillar of Evil, is that a bother?"

Mazoku:"Not at all Sora, i know i cannot beat you, but i can hold ya off for enough time to let them escape!"

With that, the two of them charged at each other starting a close quarters fight between bullets and slashes, i couldn't take my eyes off of them seeing the event happen, but i was brought back to reality by Cody holding my shoulder

Cody:"It's dangerous if we stay here, lets go!" He shouted getting my attention back to Earth

Yus:"R-right!"

We then ran away with the little time Mazoku could possibly get for us, i was praying he would make it out unharmed and at least escape before being corrupted again

Spooky PoV

Yuika:"Yus! Oka! Aoi! Come on out!" Yuika tried to call them out in our travel through the city infront of us, however our calls were in vain as none of them responded

Spooky:"Sora's Faction is well known for it's vast lands, finding anything here that you lost somewhere is a task hard enough for even us"

Yuika:"Where could they be...what if Sora made some kind of harm on them?" Asked concerned the foxgirl, looking at me expecting an answer

Spooky:"No no, they're strong, i'm sure they're alright wherever they might be"

Just as i was speaking, we heard a loud explosion coming from near the city, making us turn to it and see whatever was happening. Once we saw a cloud of smoke, me and Yuika ran towards the source wanting to see what was going on
