Chapter 2: Into the Zone. Mental Training for the True Challenge

Yus POV

Yuika had shown me around the headquarters, showing me places such as the backyard, a garden, the kitchen, etc.

Yuika:"Any question?" She asked while we walked down the hallway

Yus:"Just one...what are those rooms you didn't show me?" I wondered, pointing at a hallway where we went through to the old Pillar of Creation's room

Yuika:"Oh yeah, about that..."

Her tone had changed to a sadder and more serious one

Yuika:"If our brothers become corrupted, the headquarters take it as if they died and need a replacement, closing the room they lived in until they're then replaced"

Yus:"Wait so they'll be replaced if we don't hurry!?" I said in realization, but Yuika proved me wrong the moment she shook her head

Yuika:"Not really, you see, what chooses a PoE is the weapon they wield, take Beginning of the End as an example, if it was corrupted then you wouldn't have been brought here to be a PoE" She explained with a calmed tone

We turned to the hallway again

Yus:"So if they get corrupted the room will close, thinking they died, until they return or the weapon chooses a new wielder...but since the weapons are also corrupted, there's no way they'll open until we bring them back..."

Yuika nodded

Yus:"Then the door of the old Pillar of Creation was also closed before?"

Yuika:"Surprisingly, it wasn't. That was the only door that didn't close once he got corrupted..."

She turned to my blade

Yuika:"Could it be that BE had chosen you since the start, and our other brother was just a replacement until you came?.." She wondered outloud

Yus:"So i had been chosen a pillar since the start..." I turned to the sword, which let out a glow for a brief moment

Yuika:"Whatever the answer is, something is clear, you were chosen to be here and we must train you in order to be as strong as him, and so, we'll free our siblings!"

She raised her hands in excitement, going towards the couch

Yus:"I'll train in my mind, wont i?" I asked my weapon

BE:"You indeed will, that's the best we have for now and the most effective way to do this fast. We can delay as much as it takes the multiverse to get corrupted"

I nodded, understanding the situation for what i had been explained

Yuika:"Come on over here!" Shouted the little foxgirl from a room

Following her order, i walked towards the room she was in, seeing a bed and a chair at it's side along with the girl-like environment

Yuika:"Welcome to my room!" She happily exclaimed

Yus:"What are we doing here?" I asked with wonder

Yuika patted her bed in response. Understanding what she meant, i walked towards it and laid on it, Yuika sitting on the chair and turning to face me

Yuika:"The sword will be training you in your mind, so you might as well want to be comfortable. My bed is the most comfy one in the whole headquarters so you would be good to go" She exclaimed with excitement

Yus:"So what do i do?"

Yuika:"The dream realm is a dimension controlled by one of our siblings, but BE can just bring you to an alternative dream realm so you can train without the risk of him finding you"
