Chapter 8: Break the Mold. Ruins in the Dusk

Yus' PoV

Aoi:"It was hard to believe there was a village...though i'm glad there was"

Yuika:"Guardians take their job seriously, you can't say they don't if they are day by day protecting their Pillars"

Aoi and Yuika were talking with each other behind us, me and Spooky taking the lead

Spooky:"Where are we going? Do you have a mental map of the zone or where those clones might be?" Finally spoke up my sister with a curious tone

Yus:"I'll be honest. I haven't got a single clue of where to go, so i'm just rolling with it" I answered as i placed my hands behind my head

Spooky:"As i said, some things just never change..." Her tone had a slight sign of disappointment

Yuika:"Oi Yus, Spooky! Aoi spotted something!"

As she called out for us, Aoi was looking at something beneath the hill we were on, some kind of ruins below with a lot of fog

Aoi:"Might that be where we must go?" Yuika nodded twice

Yuika:"It must, it's creepy...creepy enough to be considered corruption!"

Spooky:"And if you look closely, you can see the corrupted landscape beneath it..."

The ruins were surrounded by a purple fog, and not just that, just as Spooky said the majority of the land was in a black colored liquid

Yus:"I'll investigate..." I began walking to the ruins, however i was stopped by someone grabbing my shoulder

Spooky:"We're together in this, you're not going alone" Assured Spooky with a determined smile, making the other two nod in agreement

Yuika:"Lets do it, find Yoshika's clone and then return to the village!"

Seeing them with energy, i knew i couldn't just say no, charging in alone would be stupid either ways. We went down the mountain to investigate, getting into the purple fog with their company

Yuika:"It's kinda dark..."

Aoi:"No shit Sherlock, we're inside fog, you expect it to be a flower garden?"

Yuika shrugged in response. Out of a sudden, a blue and red light illuminated the view to the front

Aoi:"Woah, who's got a flashlight?"

Spooky:"It's not a flashlight, but it'll do"

We turned to look at her, Spooky's eyes were shining in the color of her eyes, making our sight in the darkness be a little better

Yus:"Well that's new..."

Spooky:"You can do the same, did you try yet?" She stepped infront of us, turning back to face us again

Yus:"I can? I doubt it, though..."

An idea came to my mind after a moment, remembering the glow's color were similar to my weapon, i appeared End in my hand

Yuika:"That's brilliant! End will get us the light we need!" Said Yuika with excitement upon seeing the blade

Spooky:"I guess that works too"

Out of a sudden however, a red glow was seen behind Spooky as it slowly grew bigger

Aoi:"Well done Yus, now we should be able to-"

Yus:"Uh...that isn't me" I interrupted her to give my affirmation

The glow soon took the form of some kind of golem-like body, revealing itself more as it grew closer making the ground tremble with each step
