Chapter 10: Arrival of Corruption. Road to the End

Yus' PoV

???:"Yus? Yus! Wake up please!" A voice ringed above me, i was having trouble to open my eyes

My ears were ringing, i barely had strength to get up...i can't die like this. Finally opening my eyes, i grabbed my blade to get strength to get up, seeing the one calling out for me being Yuika

Yus:"Y-Yuika?.."

Yuika:"Thank god! Get up get up, i don't think Spooky and Aoi can hold him for too long!"

She helped me to stand up, my sight was still blurry and could barely let me see anything, all i could hear between the ringing was the sounds of gauntlets, arrows and swords clashing with one another

Yus:"Stand back...i-i'll hold him off..." I said with barely strength to even talk, struggling to stay on my feet or even carry my sword

Yuika:"At your current state!? Impossible!"

The sounds ceased at last, making us turn to see where the sounds had first come from. In the flames of the village, i saw Aoi on the ground with a blade pierced on her chest, and Spooky being pierced by a guy's blade, which had made her fall down as well

Yus:"N-no..."

Yuika:"W-we have to go! I can't-!"

Before she could finish her sentence, the guy threw a really familiar spear to her head and pierced it, killing Yuika in the act as the spear revealed itself to be Kazuki's

Yus:"YUIKA!" I shouted in despair, seeing all of them dead because of my actions, because i hadn't seen anything of this coming...i could have stopped it, but stood by watching

???:"AHAHAHAHA! THIS IS JUST DELIGHTFUL!" The voice of the guy grew closer, his sword was being dragged on the ground making the metallic sound grow closer with each step

In fear, i turned my head to look at the attacker, not identifying it whatsoever...but i could tell it wasn't Dusk, Kazuki nor anyone i have seen yet

???:"Your time ends here...in a world NO ONE WILL REMEMBER YOU! AHAHAHAHA!" He slashed to me with his sword-

...

Yus:"AAHHH!" I shouted as i jumped out of bed, looking around to see the room we were staying in

Yuika and Spooky rushed in to see what was going on, Yuika tackling me to the bed again

Yuika:"What's wrong!? What happened!?" She asked with confusion and worry, Spooky joining by peeking from aside

Spooky:"Did you have a nightmare? Something of that sort?"

Looking at them being alright, and the safety of our home, i sighed in relief to see that it had all been just a bad dream

Yus:"S-sorry i scared you all...i had a weird nightmare..."

Spooky:"Some cookies will help you calm down, we're going to tell Kazuki about our accomplishment after we got something to eat"

Yuika:"Aoi is waiting for us at the bar, lets go!"

They began walking out, leaving me to think of my own

Yus:"It was just a bad dream...that felt so real..."

End:"What did you dream about?" Asked End in my head, wondering of it

Yus:"Nothing to worry about Nappa, lets go..."

End:"Call me End..."

I got out of bed and began walking out as well, trying to ignore that nightmare
