Twisted Wonderland: Princess of Outworld

Prologue

Eons ago, when Liu Kang became the God of Fire, he used the Hour Glass to rewrite time to give his friends and loved ones the life they deserved. Though he tried to make things at peace, some things never changed. Old enemies had returned to destroy the peaceful timeline Liu Kang had created. Luckily, he had his friends, his champions, and his love at his side to defeat them. Even after all the chaos, Liu Kang made sure that his friends had the life they deserved. Such as Johnny Cage and Sonya Blade married and had their daughter Cassie. Jax is happily married to his wife, has his daughter Jacqui, and his arms are still intact. Kuai Liang became the new Sub Zero and led the new Lin Kuei after his brother Bi-han betrayed the clan and took his loyal followers with him. Hanzo and his wife Harumi lead the Shirai Ryu as another defense clan for Earthrealm. A lot of Earthrealmers are getting the life they deserve. As for Outworld, Liu Kang made sure that he had his Kitana with him to help make peace with both realms. Kitana gets the family she always wanted. Her mother was good again. Even though she lost her father again, he was recreated into Erma, by the very beings that tried to destroy Liu Kang's timeline. Surprisingly, Kitana and Mileena ended up being twins after all. Kitana happily accepted her sister with open arms. Though some people in their court have some disagreements about who should be the next ruler, the twins come up with a compromise. Kitana and Mileena were the first in Outworld history to share their rule as sisters. Mileena would handle the politics while Kitana handled the military. The people seemed happy with it and so were they. Kitana was able to marry Liu Kang as a sign of peace for both realms. Mileena was able to be with Tanya and changed the Umgadi rules, so they would be together. More of their allies of Outworld were given the lives they deserved. Jade becomes a countess and marries her love, Kotal. Kitana and Jade still remained best friends after all this time.  Throughout this time, even this timeline wasn't perfect such as the Terkat disease. Although it is a tragedy, there has been an incredible discovery. Outworld has made a vaccine that has helped a bit more. Once injected, people won't have to fear being infected. As for those who have already caught the disease, the vaccine has helped reduce a bit of the side effects of the disease such as the spikes, bloodlust, and fangs. It's a slow process, but this will help find a cure soon. And now both people of Earthrealm and Outworld have learned about each other and learned how to make peace with each other.

It was a stormy night in Outworld as Kitana and her husband Liu Kang were discussing diplomatic topics with their friends and allies. With them were General Sonya Blade, Johnny Cage, Raiden, Kung Lao, Jade, Kotal, and Mileena. They were discussing how to help Earthrealm with easy trade with Outworld since there has been peace for a long time.

"I'd say maybe we focus on making a bond with Earthrealms leaders and see what is it that they may have to offer," Jade suggested. "Earthrealm can offer a lot and we need to make sure that we think of our realms' alliance," Sonya spoke. "We can no longer fear other worlds being conquered and move forward for peace in both realms," Raiden said. Kung Lao nods. "We may have won for now, but it still doesn't mean that there will be others out there that would want to destroy the peace we have created."

Before they could continue to talk, they heard a soft sniffling coming from the doorway. They all turned to see a 6-year-old child standing there. It was one of the princesses of Outworld, (Y/n) in her nightgown as she wipes the tears from her eyes. Kitana stared at her daughter with a concerned look. "The nightmare again?" (Y/n) nods as she finally calms herself down. Liu Kang and Kitana shared a smile before they walked toward their daughter. Liu Kang took the girl in his arms as he rubbed circles on her back. "We won't be long." Then he and his wife walked back to (Y/n)'s room.

Back in (Y/n)'s room. Kitana tucks in her daughter as Liu Kang begins to speak. "Now, tell us what happened to your friends in your dreams."

"One boy turns bad because no one would follow his rules. A prince was upset because he can't win or be king. Another boy was scared that he would be bullied again." (Y/n) told her parents. "Who turns evil this time, my daughter?" Kitana asked. "A boy who wants to be number one. He doesn't want to be a servant to his friend." (Y/n) explains. She used her small fist to rub the new tears coming out. "Is it bad that I dream of people turning bad?"

Kitana smiled warmly and stroked her daughter's hair. "Of course not. You told us last time that your dream friends turn good again and you tell us about the fun things you do." Liu Kang joins in. "Did anything happen with your new friends?" (Y/n) thought for a moment and smiled. "Me and a new friend were flying on a carpet!" Liu Kang laughed. "A flying carpet? Sounds like fun."

(Y/n)'s door open. They turned to see another child. It was Lijin; Liu Kang and Kitana's 8-year-old son. The little boy saw his family and decided to join them in the conversation. Liu Kang smiled and pulled his son onto the bed. "Did sister have a bad dream again?" The young prince asked. Kitana explained that (Y/n) did have a nightmare and they were comforting her. Lijin nodded and crawled closer to his little sister. "Papa told me you can wake up like this." Then Lijin pinched his sister on her arm. "Ow!" (Y/n) giggles before she playfully pushes her brother away from her.

"Remember, (Y/n). These dreams may seem bad at first, but you always find a way to save your new friends." Kitana smiled as she kissed her daughter's head. Liu Kang grabbed Lijin and Kitana followed as they left the young princess to get some sleep. (Y/n) smiled softly and slowly closed her eyes, hoping to see her dream friends again. Though there was one thing that hurt her when she woke up, she can't remember what they looked like.
