(Y/n), the princess of Outworld, daughter of Liu Kang and Kitana, has suddenly disappeared from her home and entered a strange new world where no one has ever heard of the Mortal Kombat Tournaments. She has now found herself in a world called Twiste...
(Y/n) wakes up to see a dark void surrounding her before changing into a courtroom. She could see that Alice is on trial as the Queen of Hearts is persecuting her. To escape her wrath, (Y/n) witnessed eating some mushrooms, and she suddenly grew bigger.
"Now that's something you don't see every day." (Y/n) mumbled.
The card soldiers tried to use their weapons on Alice, but it didn't affect her. "Oh, pooh. I'm not afraid of you! Why, you're nothing but a pack of cards!" Alice picked up the card solders and tossed them aside. "Rule forty-two: all persons more than a mile high must leave the court immediately." The King of Hearts read the rule book. "I'm not a mile high. And I'm not leaving." Alice stood her ground. The Queen of Heart took off her crown nervously. "Hehehe... sorry! Rule forty-two, you know." Alice goes closer to the royals. "And as for you, your majesty!" Alice gave a mock curtsy. "Your majesty indeed! Why, you're not a queen, but just a fat, pompous, bad-tempered old ty- tyrant..." She didn't notice that Alice was slowly shrinking back to her original size.
"Oh no..." (Y/n) gasped.
The Queen of Heart gave a confident chuckle. "Hmhmhmhm... and uh... what were you saying, my dear?" Then suddenly, the Cheshire Cat appeared on top of the Queen of Hearts. "Well, she simply said that you're a fat, pompous, bad-tempered old tyrant!" He laughed before he disappeared. The Queen of Hearts grew angry and yelled out. "Off with her head!" The card soldiers quickly ran after Alice as she ran away before she could get captured.
"No! Stop!" (Y/n) wanted to go after them and save the young girl, but she was then back in the black void. She gasped as she tried to understand what she witnessed. "Someone should've stopped the queen's tyranny." She whispered.
(Y/n) opened her eyes to see that she was back in her room in Ramshackle. She sits up to look down at Kiki, waiting for her. The door opens to reveal Grim, with Ace and Deuce following him. "Hey, (Y/n)! Ah, good, you're already up." He leaps next to Kiki. "Today's the big duel! Let's DO this thing." Ace said with determination. "Yes." (Y/n) nodded in agreement.
They all made it back to Heartslabyul as the duel would take place in the Rose Maze. They weren't the only ones there. Trey, Cater, and the other students of Heartslabyul will be witnesses to the duel. (Y/n) wears her Kombat attire and carries her weapons. She didn't know why she needed them, but she had a feeling that something wasn't right. She shook her head as she listened to the students talking.
