"Stop by that black gate over there." Sristi says.
Ash stops the bike before Sristi's house.
"Thanks a lot for today. See you tomorrow in college" Sristi smiles.
"Wait- Give me your number" Ash says.
"Tell me yours, I'll ping you in WhatsApp"
Ash gives her number and she notes it down on her phone.
"Also Don't give your number to random guys from college like that, they are going to distribute it among weirdos and call you all the time" Ash says.
Sristi nods and asks, "Where do you live by the way?"
"Oh I live just 5 mins away from here in that apartment" Ash points towards a building at a distance.
"That's very close. How come I never saw you around here?" Sristi asks.
"Oh well I just moved to this apartment because it's close to college, otherwise I live far from here" She says.
"I see, well same for me except this is my aunt's house. I'm staying here for college too. By the way do you live alone then?" Sristi asks.
"No I live with him" She points towards Rohan.
Sristi gets very surprised.
She lives with a boy?? But she said it's not even her boyfriend.
"I got kicked out of my house haha" Rohan laughs.
"What? Why?" Sristi gasps.
"Long story. I'll tell you later" Rohan grins as if it's a casual thing.
"Okay then, see you tomorrow" Ash says.
"Bye" Sristi waved her goodbye.
Ash was odd but really interesting.
And she was the opposite of Sristi.
Bold, Casual, and rebellious.
Unlike Sristi who was soft and nervous all the time.
Sristi was raised in a conservative Indian family, where girls were taught to be obedient and polite. She was a good girl who listened to her parents, and would never disappoint them. She studied in an all girls school and never had a boyfriend in her entire life. It was so surprising to her that people like Ash existed who lived with a guy or Rohan who was supposedly kicked out of his house.
But strangely it was all very exciting at the same time.
After dinner, Sristi thought of pinging her on WhatsApp.
When she added her number, she found the picture of a really pretty girl. She curiously clicked on her profile picture and it was so different from what Ash looked like in college, so much that she was almost unrecognisable.
Ash had bold red lipstick on, and a full face of makeup.
"Wow she looks gorgeous with makeup on..." Sristi thought.
And when Sristi is busy looking at her pic, Ash texts back.
"Hi"
"Are you coming tomorrow?"
"Yeah" Sristi replies back.
"Okay. See you in college." Ash replies.
And the next day, the first bench girl Sristi, walked up to the last bench where Aishwarya and Rohan sat.
And the first thing she says is...
"Why don't you put on makeup at college?? You look so great!"
Ash was pretty surprised at this sudden compliment.
