No One's POV

Kanine was in a training room as he was pacing back and forth in front of three recruits. He stopped in front of the one on the right as she had long white hair in a ponytail, white cat ears, a cat tail, white cloudy eyes, white skin, was 5'6 feet tall, and had a katana sheathed on her hip. Katie looked at her, "You, what's your name?"

The girl looked up at him to be staring at Kanine's head and not his eyes, "My name is Ivory sir."

Kanine continued to stare at her, "How old are you?"

Ivory answered quickly, "I am fifteen sir."

Kanine raised an eyebrow, "Are you blind?"

Ivory nodded, "Yes sir."

Kanine hummed as he moved on to the girl next to Ivory. She had short cherry red hair that was a little spikey, with two cat ears, a tail with the tip of the tail chipped off a bit, lightly tanned skin, red eyes, was 5'9 feet tall and duel one handed axes with one strapped on each side of her hips. Kanine asked her the same thing that he had asked Ivory, "What's your name?" The girl stayed silent for Kanine to repeat himself. The girl started making signs with her hands for Kanine to squint his eyes as he used sign language to say, "Call me that again and I'll make you run ten laps around the Fright Zone."

The girl looked surprised as she signed, "My name is Ella. I am sixteen, I am deaf."

Kanine raised an eyebrow as he moved on to the final recruit. She had dark brown hair that was just above the middle of her back, as she had cat ears and a tail, hazelnut brown eyes, Pecan brown skin, and was 5'2 feet tall. Kanine asked her the same questions as the other two.

Just like Ella, the girl signed to Kanine, "Nina. Fourteen."

Kanine raised an eyebrow as he signed, "Are you deaf too?" The girl shook her head to put one of her forefingers over her mouth. Kanine walked to the middle of them, "Ah a mute." He then looked back and forth at the three, "So a mute, a deaf, and a blind." Kanine sighed as he thought of what to do first.

Kanine and Ella were now in the middle of a big circle that was on the ground. It was a training circle, which was meant for combat. Kanine signed to Ella as he spoke so that the other two could hear him, "This is a training area for hand-to-hand combat. Anything goes. The goal is to pin your opponent to the ground, put them in a situation where they lose the fight or knock them out of the circle. Kanine grabbed his shield off of his back for him to sign one-handed, "Grab your weapons."

Ella grabbed her axes to look at them and then Kanine for the young man to nod. The two got in a fighting stance for Ella to make the first move. She swung her right axe for Kanine to block it with his shield. Without hesitation, Ella swung her left leg to try and hit her opponent's knee to make him buckle, but Kanine brought his leg up to block her attack. As she was off her balance Kanine took the opportunity to simply shove Ella back with his right hand. This made Ella stumble back for her to regain her balance, just for her to be bombarded by a fury of Kanine's attacks. It was constant punches and kicks. He soon stepped back to shield bash, Ella. The girl put her arms in front of her face as she tried to stay steady, but when Kanine got close he moved his shield to his left to uppercut Ella in the stomach just under her ribs. Ella immediately lost her breath as she fell onto her knees, with the axes on the ground, her right hand on her upper stomach, and her left hand on the ground. Kanine sheathed his shield to walk up to a fridge and open it to see it full of bottles of water and protein shakes. He grabbed a bottle of water and walked up to Ella as he tried to hand her the water.
