Kaltoom's POV
After the excitement of last night, coming to Shanghai with the Salmans was turning out to be one of the best decisions ever! The whole experience already felt like a dream. Of course, convincing Abee to let me travel wasn't easy. He didn't want his auta out of his sight for even a single day. It took Uncle Salman stepping in,personally calling Abee, reassuring him I'd be under their care, even offering to sponsor the whole trip. But still, Abee's stubbornness stood firm. Eventually though, with much persuasion, he agreed. And being the generous man he is, not only did he pay for my ticket himself, he also slipped me some pocket money, already knowing I wouldn't resist the shops once I touched down.
Ammi gave her approval too, entrusting me to Adyan's mother's care. And just like that, I was here.
After leaving Adyan speechless outside, I followed his parents' directions to join Laila upstairs. I found a door slightly ajar, and without a doubt, I knew she was in there. I entered with a cheerful salaam and paused. The room was breathtaking, like walking into a luxury suite. The black and white theme gave it a sleek, timeless elegance. My eyes swept across the furnishings until they landed on the bed.
