After returning to Lawrence's compound, they'd revealed Gally's plan to Fry, Jorge and Brenda, but Thomas was still against it as they gathered around a table covered in blueprints and papers for the city.

"No. There's gotta be another way," Thomas insisted.

"Like what? You've seen the building. She is our only way in," Gally pointed out.

"But please, by all means, give us another option Tommy," Tanya invited as she sat on the table.

"You really think she's gonna fucking help us?" Thomas asked and Tanya couldn't help but smirk at Gally's answer, she had a really big axe to grind when it came to Teresa - there was no excuse that made torturing Minho ok.

"I don't plan on asking for her permission," Gally replied, living up to Tanya's belief that he would gladly let the world burn if it meant his friends were ok.

"Am I missing something here? This is the same girl who betrayed us, correct? Same dick?" Brenda questioned.

"I like her," Gally remarked before Tanya kicked his leg. "Oh, relax. You know what I meant," he defended himself as he rubbed his leg, Tanya just smiling innocently because she knew what he meant all along.

"What's going on?" Brenda asked Thomas, voice gentle and full of concern. After hearing how she kissed Thomas last year inside Marcus' club when they were hallucinating, she'd always thought Brenda was a better option than Teresa.

"What, are you afraid your little fucking girlfriend's gonna get hurt?" Newt snapped. "Because this has obviously never been just about rescuing Minho, has it?"

"And who knows what she's been doing to him over the last year," Tanya added as Gally leaned on the portion of the table in between her legs, a hand on her thigh.

"Wait, what are you talking about?" Thomas asked, not wanting to admit that he loved her but not denying it either.

"Teresa," Next exclaimed as he stood up and faced Thomas. "She's the only reason that Minho's even missing in the fucking first place. Now we finally have an opportunity to get him back. And what? You don't want to because of her?!" Newt accused as he walked towards Thomas who backed up into the wall.

"Newt," Tanya called, this kind of anger was very new and never before seen from her friend who was normally always calm and ever the voice of reason, but he ignored her as he continued going at Thomas.

"Because deep down inside, you still care about her, don't you? Just admit it," Newt demanded.

"Newt, I-"

"Don't fucking lie to me! Don't lie to me!" Newt yelled as he grabbed Thomas' collar and slammed him into the wall as Tanya jumped down off the table. But as soon as he did it, he regretted it as he stepped back away from Thomas. "Sorry," he muttered before turning to the group. "I'm sorry," he said, holding his right arm before he walked out, and Tanya's heart absolutely sunk in her chest as Thomas went after him and her body filled with horror.

"Tan. Tan, don't. Give them a minute," Gally said with his hands on her shoulders as he stopped her from chasing after them.

"But he's infected, Gally. He has the virus. I can't lose him. I just got you back, I can't lose him too," she cried as he hugged her to him, resting his head on hers.

"I know," was all he really could say before he came up with a way to distract her until Thomas was done talking with Newt. "Come on. I think it's time we have that talk.'

With a hand on her back, Gally led her through the compound and into a small room that was fitted with a cot, a desk and a few guns in the corner, a small window on the wall opposite the cot
