*Rises from grave, brushes off dust*
Lloyd's POV
The moment the liquid from the needle disappeared into my body, golden light burst from my skin. The unusual golden glow radiated outward, nearly blinding me from my surroundings. I glared at Chamille as she backed away from me, a sly smile on her face. I had been tricked again. This had been Leo's plan all along. Lure me here and then use my power for his own gain.
I should have known. It was an age old occurrence that had plagued me throughout the years with many villains. The Overlord, Chen, Morro, Harumi. At the thought of her, my traitorous heart began to pound. She had betrayed me again. After all this time she had been waiting, abiding her time for the next chance to pounce.
But what if she was pretending? You saw the way she jumped to defend you. A small, illogical voice whispered in the back of my mind. Instantly I pushed it away. It was too confusing to think about that.
Shoving my thoughts to the back of my mind, I took a deep breath and turned my attention outwards, to the strange power that was radiating from my skin. With the soft hum of it on my skin, and the golden glow, it almost reminded me of....No! I couldn't think of that. I had given up the golden power long ago. Whatever this was, it wasn't that. But it was something from me.
Many teachings from Master Wu on controlling my power swarmed my thoughts. Leo was trying to control my power, but he underestimated my practice with uncontrollable things. Taking deeps breaths, I called to the power, tugging at it with my mind to come back to me. The golden power flickered, making Camille's smirk fade slightly. Encouraged, I tried again, closing my eyes as I slowly reached out to this power. Then, the nausea hit. The floor titled and spun beneath my feet, making me loose all my concentration. If it weren't for the guard holding me up, I would have fallen.
I opened my eyes, feeling disoriented as my surroundings blurred and swayed. I squinted, barely making out Chamille's face as she nodded to the guards. They let go of my arms, allowing me to stand on my own. I straightened up, but the whole building titled sideways, causing me to fall to my hands and knees.
"Lloyd!" The cry came from my right. I turned my head to the side, catching sight of Harumi before my vision blurred again. She was still held by guards, her hands twisted painfully behind her back. A small groan escaped my lips as the world continued to tilt beneath me, forcing me to curl into a ball. I needed a way out of this predicament, but no ideas were forthcoming. Whatever Chamille had injected was powerful.
Without my attempts at control, the power that radiated from my skin grew brighter, consuming the room in its light. I closed my eyes, trying desperately to not throw up. Sudden pain radiated from my scalp as my head was yanked backwards. I opened my eyes and stared up into the face of a snarling redhead. Wait, that was Leo.
"Your power is strong Green ninja. Now listen closely." Leo's voice was low, hypnotic. "You will transport us to where we request." Request? Transport where? The urge to fight Leo was strong, yet even as I had the thought, another wave of nausea hit me. Whatever Leo said next was lost to me as my body continued to revolt beyond my control.
I could feel Leos fist as he twisted it in my hair, creating more pain that temporarily blocked the nausea. "Listen to me!" He snapped. I blinked, trying to focus. "Transport us to-"
The rest of Leos sentence was drowned out as the golden power burst into a whirl wind of motion. Gold wisps swirled in a circle through Leos office, engulfing everyone inside. They rotated quickly, becoming a steady wall that hid the small group of people from the outside world. They rotated faster and faster, slowly becoming a golden blur. A steady hum filled the room.
