It became worrying. The first three days of Felix being awake were fine.
Felix would do what he needed to eat, sleep, go to physical therapy, then it stopped.
He would still eat and sleep occasionally, but overall he just didn't leave Hyunjin's side. It almost seemed like the longer Hyunjin was in the coma, the more anxious Felix felt.
"Look." The girl said, handing the older a document.
"What am I looking at?" Minho asked.
Bahiyyih sighed.
"This is Hyunjin's brain activity." Bahiyyih stated.
"Okay, it looks normal for a coma patient." Minho shrugged.
"This was his brain activity before Felix woke up, that spike right there is from the same time Felix had a sudden movement from his coma."
"Hiyyih, you know that spikes are normal."
Bahiyyih handed him another paper.
"This is his current brain activity starting from after Felix woke up. That isn't normal. In coma patients we usually see minimal activity with the occasional spike.
It seems like since Felix woke up Hyunjin's brain has been working on overdrive. So either he knows something is wrong or happening, or he is having one hell of a coma dream."
"Yah, language."
Bahiyyih pouted.
"You and Jisung are going to make amazing parents. Him with scolding me for not getting food, you with making me watch my language." Bahiyyih stated.
"Mm, you're right, it is odd to see this much activity, even if he can hear stuff..." Minho said, completely glossing over Bahiyyih's comment.
"I think it has something to do with the sudden waking of Felix."
"Hiyyih, even that doesn't make sense."
Bahiyyih sat on the counter next to Minho.
"Think about it Minho. When patients are in comas, even when they have dreams, they can hardly remember them, Felix wakes up and he can remember everything, from his and Hyunjin's confessions, to the thing about Miyoung, to even seeing your guys dad in the hospital.
One of the last things that he remembers is him and I talking about Miyoung and her possible heart condition. Before that he mentions Madiline. Besides Felix's sudden movement during this spike, what else happened?" Bahiyyih asked.
"Madiline came and saw Hyunjin and Felix, but that doesn't mean anything. It could just mean that Hyunjin is hyper aware of everything..." Minho said.
Bahiyyih put yet another paper in front of Minho.
"This is just another copy of the Hyunjin's brain activity before Felix woke." Minho stated.
Bahiyyih pointed to the top.

"This is Felix's." Minho muttered.
"They are practically copies. Besides this right here on Felix's chart there isn't a big difference." Bahiyyih told him.
"Uhm... I mean, how did you find this out?"
"I was a little curious to Felix and Hyunjin's history, so I asked Lisa if I could learn about Hyunjin's medical history, because technically I am Felix's resident, she told me that all the records including recent ones are in Felix's office so I began looking through all six boxes."
"That explains how you got Hyunjin's brain activity, but how about Felix's.?"
"I asked Jisung if I could see Felix's and yes I followed protocol."
Minho hummed and handed her the papers.
"Take it to Namjoon, explain to him what you just explained to me."
"Wait really? I mean this is all just a long shot thing. I don't even know what it is."
"But you did see something that no one else realised." Minho said.
Bahiyyih nodded.
"Felix chose you to be in his residency for a reason. He can be very picky with his residents that is why unlike everyone else he only had three residents.
Hiyyih you are brilliant and amazing don't doubt yourself and don't let anyone tell you, you can't do what other doctors can do because of your age." Minho told her.
"Did people doubt Felix because of his age?" Bahiyyih asked.
"Always, there was one doctor in particular who did something reckless and it caused a small issue with Hyunjin's pacemaker. Felix was pissed he had Chan call the doctor and if Felix wasn't so professional I'm sure he would have ripped the guy a new one.
He went the passive aggressive way though. The doctor doesn't work here anymore." Minho said.
Bahiyyih's eyes widened.
"That was passive aggressive?"
"Yup, he went to ethics and explained what happened, the doctor got suspended and investigated. He put a patient's wellbeing at risk by not notifying Felix of the surgery."
"Wow..."
"Felix is amazing, but he too has had times where it was too much and he messed up on something. If there is something to take away from Felix's experience, it is you shouldn't put too much pressure on yourself and that you should let people judge you because you are so young."
Bahiyyih nodded taking in what the older said.
"I'll go take these to Namjoon. See what he says."
Minho nodded watching her leave.
His brows drew together.
"Wait did she say Jisung and I would make good parents?"
