A (not so) quick explanation of what exactly happened.
At the end of chapter eight Felix gets a call from Minho saying that their dad is in the hospital. At the same time Hyunjin is being brought to the hospital because of his heart.
As Felix is driving to the hospital, he gets another call this time from Lisa telling him the Hyunjin has come into the hospital and it is pretty serious.
That distracts him and causes his car crash.
As for Hyunjin, the stabilise him then he finds out Felix was in a car crash which caused too much stress, which led to surgery and his coma.
Chapters 9- the first part of chapter 14 are the coma.
It all fits with the storyline because it is Felix and Hyunjin's perceived reality because they don't exactly know they are in a coma.
In chapter sixteen with Bahiyyih and Minho that was supposed to be like a small nod towards the fact that Felix and Hyunjin were experiencing the same things aka their dream.
It is also a small nod towards the fact that once Felix wakes up, the perceived reality that they both were living falls apart because one of them is not there, which is also a nod towards Felix transferring to a different hospital therefore leaving Hyunjin and their connection.
In the last chapter Bahiyyih shows Felix and Hyunjin their brain activity, as she explains it all it kind of clicks to them what exactly happened.
Which is why Hyunjin says, "You didn't fracture your wrist from a fall."
There aren't really any indications of a coma because it is what they believed to be real.

Neither Hyunjin or Felix had said anything since Bahiyyih left.
What were they to say?
"You and Madi broke up because of me..."
Hyunjin pursed his lips.
"It was right Lix... I shouldn't have proposed to her in the first place. She deserves more than what I can give her."
"It... You guys were together for years, emotions like that don't go away so easily." Felix stated.
"I very much so will admit that I shouldn't have started to like you when I was with Madi because it wasn't right, but even so it doesn't change the fact that Madi and I would've broken up anyway." Hyunjin stated.
"Okay, but the chain reaction that was created because of the reason you and Madiline broke up would not have happened."
Hyunjin sighed and shook his head.
"Yeji told you..." Hyunjin muttered.
"I asked about your aunt, she told me what happened and so what if she did?" Felix questioned.
"She shouldn't have."
Felix shook his head and looked down at his phone.
"Jisung is here to take me to physical therapy..." Felix muttered.
"Can we talk about this later?"
"Yeah..."
The door opened and in came Jisung.
"Hey! Good to see you awake." Jisung greeted.
Hyunjin gave a tip lipped smile a nodded.
"We should go, Lix, Jeongin has been pouty all week not seeing you."
Felix laughed lightly.
Hyunjin bit his inner lip and looked at his hands.
"He knows I've been busy." Felix said.
"Yeah, well he's likes seeing you, your like a battery making it fun even with the circumstances." Jisung shrugged.
Felix turned his attention to Hyunjin and gave him a smile.
"I'll be back in a little while, we can talk then... You should call Niki." Felix said.
Hyunjin nodded.
Once Felix left, Hyunjin sighed.
"I want to go back to sleep..." Hyunjin muttered.
It wasn't exactly how he expected that conversation to go, but nothing seems to be as expected.
