Hyunjin took a deep breath.
"Felix this isn't just your decision, you may not want me to wait, but I do, so that is what I'll do." Hyunjin stated.
"Hyunjin, I don't want you to wait!" Felix stated
"Give me a reason."
"Because Yeji is engaged, because Karina is starting a relationship, because Niki will be eighteen soon and he'll eventually have a partner, because Miyoung needs steady and you pining for me won't give her that."
"Yeji's engagement doesn't concern me or my relationships unless she is in a toxic one, same thing for Karina, Niki is a big boy, and once again unless it is toxic it doesn't concern me, my waiting for you will and has never interfered with anything to do with Miyoung."
He was really serious.
He really wasn't going to let it go.
"Felix, I don't care how long it takes. I am done running from my feelings for you because for the last six years that is all I have been doing. I kept telling myself, I didn't love you, that you weren't becoming everything to me, but I knew they were lies. I am done lying to myself and I don't plan on lying to you.
I'm not going to not wait. I love you Felix Lee and if what you need is time, then fine I will wait for however long you need. I'm not going anywhere anytime soon, so don't push me away, please."
What was Felix to do? He didn't want Hyunjin to wait, but whether Hyunjin waited or not was completely Hyunjin's decision not his.
"I don't want you to regret anything..."
Hyunjin smiled and laughed softly.
"Me loving you? Even if it doesn't work in the end, I'd never regret it, Felix. You are something out of this world, I'd never regret anything involving you." Hyunjin said.
He just had this way with words that just captivated Felix.
Felix pursed his lips.
"Even though, I am a battery for happiness and energy, my life isn't that. I work hours at a time, I have to work sometimes knowing one of my patients is dying and I can't do anything about it but make them comfortable.
Hyunjin, you fell in love with the Felix you see here. The Felix who always has a smile, who is trying to make people happy always. At the end of the day when I go home, I am not that person. I become my own worst enemy at the end of the day." Felix stated.
Hyunjin pursed his lips.
"I was sixteen, you were fifteen, when we met. You were Yoongi's resident for the day. I was curious about you because you were young and I asked you what type of doctor you were going to be.
You told me Pediatrics. I couldn't understand why a kid would want to be a paediatric doctor. Five weeks after we met I knew for sure I liked you, about two weeks later I came into the hospital to just see you because I don't know, I just needed to," Hyunjin paused.
"Stop..." Felix whispered.
He knew where this was going. It was a memory Felix played in his mind all too often.
"Your brother was panicked and trying to find you and he asked if I had seen you, I told him no, but I knew where you went. You told me you loved to go to the roof and just think. You were sitting on the wall ledge crying.
I was scared because I didn't want to scare you, but you already knew someone was there. You lost patient and even though you knew that nothing could have been done about it, it hurt you a lot. I didn't fall for the bubbly and happy Felix only.
I may not know all that comes with your job, but I do know that it gets difficult and masking that pain for the whole day gets tiring. Yeah, people like Mingi may say that you should be happy because you save so many lives, but sometimes it isn't like that. I'm not going to leave you because you have emotions." Hyunjin stated.
Felix's mouth fell open a little and he blinked a couple times trying not to cry.
"I hate you Hyunjin Hwang." Felix whispered wiping his tears.
Hyunjin laughed softly and stood up wiping Felix's tears gently.
"I told you, I'm done running from my feelings." Hyunjin whispered.
"You heard the conversation with Minho and I?"
Hyunjin nodded.
"It was by accident, I came by to see you and I heard. I got a little annoyed by it so I left."
Felix laughed softly.
Taking a deep breath Felix looked at Hyunjin who was sitting on the hospital bed.
"Do you mean it?" Felix asked softly.
Hyunjin nodded, "I meant all of it."
"Good."

"What if I made him wait too long?" Felix questioned.
"Lix, he said yes." Bahiyyih stated.
"He also said he'd wait as long as you needed." Jisung added.
"Yeah, he said that eight months ago!" Felix stated.
"I'm sorry, I need to chime in. You guys come home to each other, you kiss, you cuddle, and I'm sure you share a bed, what were you guys waiting for? To make it official cause I mean that makes sense." Chaeyoung stated.
"Well... I... Maybe they... No, Chaeyoung has a point." Bahiyyih stated.
"I guess... Yeah, we are making it official... But what if he doesn't like me anymore? We've been living together for seven months, because up until recently I was I couldn't walk, so he was helping me around a lot. Also, I was working, which let me tell you, made me more emotional than normal so he was putting up with that. What if after all this he doesn't like me?" Felix rambled.
"Felix, stop, breathe. Trust me when I say he loves you. He loves you so fucking much and I don't think anything or anyone can change that." Madiline stated, holding Felix's hand.
Felix took a deep breath and nodded.
There was a knock at Madiline's apartment door.
"That must be him. Go." The girl said.
Felix smiled and hugged her.
"Thank you Madi..." Felix whispered.
Madiline smiled.
"He breaks your heart I break his arms." Madiline said softly.
Felix nodded and let the older go. Taking a deep breath he went to the door and opened it.
A bright smile gracing his lips, causing Hyunjin to smile wide as well.
"Hello stranger." Hyunjin greeted softly.
Felix laughed softly and then kissed Hyunjin.
"Hello stranger." Felix said softly.
