"Plum? What are our chances of surviving this?" I question whether I should tell them the truth. The last thing I want is for them to have more fear before we die. I think back to when we used to watch TV at our old house. 'Fear not for I shall save you' was the most noble line we would hear from our TV at 4:00 PM. Why can't I be like that? Why couldn't I have done anything about this sooner? Why didn't I do anything sooner? I could have saved these boys, went to Wall Sina and rented an apartment there, I could have transferred my brothers and I to the district, it wouldn't have been hard. Even though we're not the royalty we used to be, I could still get us to someplace safer. It hit me. Maybe we do have time. Why wouldn't we? It could be just like all my other dreams, we might have time. Maybe not time to get out, but maybe enough time to get a plan together to help us get out! I quickly asked Jacob what he meant by Titans coming into the town. He told me that's what the Garrison were saying. They saw them, the titans, getting even closer to the outside of the wall as if they were preparing for something. One of the leading Garrison went to go to Wall Sina with some other men to tell their government. Jacob told me he heard it while he was walking back to our apartment. It was after that I knew there wasn't much time left, and I needed to hurry. I gathered up all our blankets, food, clothes, as well as other necessities.*Note* necessities can be whatever you think are necessary.* I got the map of all the districts out so that we could figure out an escape route. "OK, so we are in Shiganshina, we could make our way to Trost district via boat. We can go through Wall Rose, and then get to Ehrmich, through which we can smuggle ourselves into Mitras. We have to be extremely careful and quick, got it? There's something I didn't tell you guys." "What is it Plum?" Ravens asks. "There's going to be another titan, a little bigger than the average. No one can kill it because it is "armored" I think. Is going to break through our wall a little while after the Red titan breaks Shiganshina's outer wall. We have to be on that boat before the second one breaks through, or we have no hope." I say. Ravens and Jacob are quiet, which isn't unlike them but still, we're about to die if we don't get a move on. We need to leave so I head for the door. Ravens speaks up, "What about Nicolas?" That "man", our older "brother". I was so ready to just let him die all alone without any family. I was fine with it. But apparently my brothers weren't. He mistreated them too. But I guess it just got drilled into their heads that the man was supposed to be mean, and the woman weak, and the younger ones were supposed to learn from either the woman or the man. Lately, I've noticed that they are becoming more like me. Thank goodness for that. But after all the family we've lost, I don't think they'd want to go with me without Nicolas. So I did the only thing you can do in this situation, lie. "Boys" I said, "He'll meet us when we get to Wall Rose, OK? He wanted to be able to get us a house immediately." With that I head to the door and my baby brothers follow me to what it's hopefully our future.
