Late Night Talking

A/N: Late Night Talking by Harry Styles. Definitely recommend, as this is one of my favorite songs. 

After Penny ended the call with Tommy, she yawned. Looking at the time, she realised it was 9:30 p.m. She quickly decided upon making a quick dinner of craft mac and cheese using her only pan.

She ate, did the dishes, took a shower, did her nightly routine, then fell asleep. Somehow, throughout the night, her dreams deviated to The Child, and she unconsciously smiled in her sleep.

The next morning, Penny woke and put on a pair of mom jeans and a white t-shirt under a red and white TommyInnit hoodie. She wasn't a fan of him, but her bestie had been and gave her the hoodie. After a small breakfast of cereal, she decided to stream in an hour.

To pass the time, she decided to text The Child.

Ramen: CHILDDDDDDDDDD

Ramen: CHILDDDDDDDDDD

Ramen: ANSWER ME CHILD!

Child: Somehow all of your messages were the same length. How the fuck did you do that?

Ramen: Wasn't intentional, but cool.

Child: Whatever. What did you want, anyways?

Ramen: I'm bored, call me rn or I'll arson your house.

Child: You don't even know where I live. (A/N: Oh, the irony~)

Ramen: Trust me, if I wanted to know where you lived, it wouldn't be too hard to find your address.

Child: Cap.

Ramen: Answer my call or arson.

Penny smiled as her call was accepted, holding her phone in place by her ear with her shoulder as she washed her bowl and spoon while they talked. After she had finished, she realised something. "OH, I JUST REMEMBERED, I CALLED YOU YESTERDAY TO SHOW YOU MY WALL ART!" 

"Show me, woman." He demanded. "No." Penny said simply, sitting on the couch instead. "YOU CANT FUCKING DO THIS TO ME, I WANNA SEEEEE!" Tommy whined. "This is why your name is The Child, child." Penny scolded teasingly. "FUCK YOU!" Tommy yelled. 

"That is the most overused comment to come out of your mouth." Penny commented, finally giving in to his protests and walking to the wall. She pointed camera at the wall, stepping back so he could see the entire thing. The Child was speechless for a moment.

"Holy shit, did YOU paint that, Ramen? It looks so good!" He complimented, and Penny imagined his shocked expression and giggled a little. Luckily, the phone didn't catch it, otherwise she would've had to say something along the lines of:

'Oh, I was just laughing because I was imagining your shocked face and it looked cute in my mind, that's all.'

No, she couldn't say that. Then, her eyes widened. She thought he was cute. Did she have a crush on someone who she didn't even know the real name of?

She sighed. Of course she did. This kind of Wattpad shit would happen to her and only her. 

She startled back to reality when Tommy shouted her nickname for what was probably the third or fourth time. She played it off and they talked until lunch, then Penny went to get a quick bite to eat before her stream.

Looking back, she wished she would have stayed on a call with tommy and ate lunch at her house instead of streaming.
