Walls could talk(2)

A/N: Walls could talk by Halsey. Also, sometimes Watt pad decides it doesn't want to let an image load so that's why sometimes one of my chapters won't have a picture.

Warning: Chapter is especially not proofread, so beware of mistakes and dont be shy about correcting me about them, but don't be rude either.

Tommy pov: 

I woke up and was startled to find I wasn't in Penny's car, but rather in my own bed wearing a puffy teal parka. (Lol it looks like they switched roles.) I quickly realized it was Penny's after the smell of her came to me from her coat. I dont mean this in a weird way, but she smelled delicious. (Not. A. single. comment. about this or istg-) 

Her scent was a comforting mix of lavender, most likely from her parka having been recently washed, faint peppermint, and another scent I couldn't quite identify but could only describe as Penny. 

I realised it was probably weird for me to be smelling a girl's parka, but then again, it was weird that I had even ended up wearing one. I finally sat up, and looked out the window to see snowflakes dancing through the murky sky and landing softly on the ground. There was already a thin layer on every outdoor surface, making me wonder how long I'd slept for.

Penny: Hey doofus, you fell asleep and me, being the nice and amazing friend I am, lent you my coat. Dont think you falling asleep means you've gotten out of buying me something from Target later, though. (Sent, 1:10)

I couldn't help but smile and snuggle in deeper into the parka before responding.

Tommy: Thanks for that by the way, and it literally snowing out I don't think you'd want to drive in this weather. (Sent, 4:10)

Penny: Wow, sleepyhead's finally woken up, huh? Took you long enough, its been three hours! (No more time bc I just wanted you to get a feel of roughly what time it was.)

Tommy: Whatever. Call? Plz?

Penny: Fine, adorably clingy bitch.

Tommy: Aww, im adorable to youu~ 

While tommy had played it off as teasing, he was actually blushing like crazy. Did she really mean that?

Penny: Will neither confirm nor deny.

And before Tommy could tease her any more, A video call offer was sent. He immediately accepted and his nicely sized bedroom was filled with the warm and pleasant voice of Penny.

Instantly brightening, Tommy sat up a little more. "Aww, you're still wearing my parka!" Penny teased and Tommy blushed instantly. "Only because it's cold outside." He lied. "My guy, you are literally under three blankets right now, im surprised you haven't caught on fire yet." Penny countered.

Blushing even more, Tommy buried his face in the parka, and Penny blushed at how adorable he looked and immediately took a screenshot. "HEY, DELETE THAT!" tommy whined, but Penny only giggled. "I'm sorry! You just looked so cute!" Penny said, realizing what she'd said but trying to play it off. Tommy blushed. "I'm a big man, nothing I do is ever cute." He said while pouting.

*Few hour time skip and pov change to third person*

By now, Penny was starting to get tired. The two lovebirds had been having a wonderful time laughing and chatting about whatever came to mind, but all good things must come to an end, hence Penny get tired. She left her phone on her bed and did her nightly routine, putting on some soft and comfy winter PJ's before snuggling up in bed with a turtle plushie in her arms and her phone being propped up on her nightstand. 

"Do you have to go, I like hanging out with you!" Tommy whined and you couldn't help but smile. "I dont have to hang up, we can sleep on call together, though I doubt you're very tired after your three hour nap." Penny said. Tommy nodded and set his phone up so he could lay comfortably on his bed and just chill. 

He smiled softly to himself and his eyes sparkled with joy as he watched his favorite person ever slowly fall asleep.

A/N: Fluffy chapter! This book won't have a lot of drama, just mostly fluff and slow-burn romance. Have a good night or day depending on where you are and dont forget to be kind to yourself and others and to eat water and drink food because you deserve it!
