Stuck with You || Draco Malfoy x Reader

Chapter 5

"...And I got lavender as well. Neville said that is supposed to help you relax and- Draco are you even listening to me?" you complained as the two of you walked home from your work.

"Shh" he simply replied, placing his arm around your shoulders. "I think someone is following us" he whispered.

"What?" you said, about to turn around but Draco stopped you.

"Don't look now" he instructed. "I'm not sure yet. Just keep walking" he said, not removing his arm from your shoulders. You did as you were told but you instinctively wrapped your arm around Draco's waist and got closer to him. "Listen, when I count to three, I'm going to apparate us out of here-"

Draco didn't really have a chance to finish when a blasting curse was thrown your way and the window next to you exploded. You let out a small scream as he pulled you towards him and ran over to the other side of the street into an empty alley, with three men running behind you.

"Draco-" you were interrupted by another blasting curse thrown at you, Draco pulling you closer, shielding you from the curse. You two ran as fast as you could and hid behind some empty boxes.

"You're bleeding" he said, worriedly as you knelt behind the boxes. You placed your hand on your cheek and realized he was right. You hadn't even felt it. You also noticed you dropped all the plants and you were both covered in dirt. "Listen, you need to apparate to my parent's house-"

"What? No! I am not leaving you here, we're going together!"

"(Y/N), I am not asking you! You have to-"

"Oh, Malfoys!" you heard a voice approaching.

"Come out and play!" another voice. Draco started to get up but you pulled him back down.

"Draco!" you whispered.

"Stay here and be quiet" he whispered back, pushing your arms off him.

"No! Draco, don't-" you tried to stop him but he revealed himself to the three men in front of him. You saw him reaching for his wand but, before he could he was sent flying backwards and hitting a wall.

"Stupefy!" one of the men said and Draco's wand quickly flew out of his reach. You almost yelled out his name but covered your mouth with your hand to prevent you from making any noise.

"What do you want?" Draco asked, getting back up.

"Where's your wife?"

"She's not here" he said, quickly. "I'm alone" he said, upset.

"We saw her run in here with you" one of them said.

"She apparated" Draco said, shrugging his shoulders. "Is just me" he insisted.

"Did she?" one of them said, smirking at Draco. "Either she comes out, or we come find her" he stated.

Draco looked at you, begging you to apparate out of there, but there was no way you would leave him there. Which was only fair since he wasn't either. You slowly stood up and walked towards Draco. He immediately placed you behind him, shielding you from the three men in front of you.

"There she is" one of them said with the same sickening grin they all had. "Mrs. Malfoy" he taunted. You tried to reach for your wand but one of them saw you.

"Don't even think about it, sweetheart" he said, pointing his wand at you.

"Leave her alone" Draco snapped. "This is with me. She has nothing to do with this" he repeated in a low, scary tone.

"Oh, but she does" another one said. You were trying really hard to look at their faces and see if you recognized any of them but it was really dark. "Once she decided to become a Malfoy."
