"Draco!"

"What?" he asked, walking inside your bedroom.

He resisted with all of his might the urge to laugh at the scene in front of him because he could see you were really stressed out. Clothes were lying around everywhere, half of your hair looked like it was done but the other one was far from it, you were pacing around the room, looking for something, and your dress' zipper was only halfway up.

"Can you please zip me up? I can't reach the stupid thing and I can't find my wand!" you said still pacing around the room.

Draco stopped you from keep on walking and turned you around, quickly zipping you up and trying to ignore the heat he felt on his cheeks. "You mean your wand that is on your nightstand?"

You turned to look at your nightstand where your wand was in plain sight. You sighed frustrated and sat on your bed, grabbing your wand. "Sorry" you muttered.

"Why are you so anxious? Is just another boring dinner at my parents' house" he said, sitting down next to you.

"I know. It's just... your mum told me my parents were coming" you admitted. "I haven't seen them since the wedding."

"But... your parents are nice" he said, confused.

Granted he had probably only seen them a handful of times but they had always been polite towards him. You let out a sarcastic laugh before you stood up and finished fixing your hair.

"Yeah, to you" you replied.

"What does that mean?"

"It means..." you sighed. "It's just... complicated" you told him.

"Oh, and I wouldn't know about that because my relationship with my parents is just splendid, really-"

"Is not the same" you said with a small smile. "Plus, your mum is actually nice and she basically worships the ground you walk on" you mocked him a little, trying not to laugh at his blushing face.

"She does not" he said rolling his eyes.

You remembered everyone at school thinking that Draco was a daddy's boy, but that couldn't be further from the truth. You wouldn't be surprised if he was a bit scared of his own father, everyone else was. But he was a complete mama's boy. You couldn't remember a time when Mrs. Malfoy wasn't talking wonders about her son.

"Yeah, she does" you mocked him before looking at yourself in the mirror. "Ugh, my mum even sent me this stupid dress" you said, fixing it.

"You don't like it?" he asked confused. It wasn't an ugly dress. "It doesn't look bad" he assured you.

"Is not that" you said, still trying to accommodate it a bit better. "I had to fix it so it would fit me because it was too small" you said, rolling your eyes. "But I know she would be furious if I don't wear it so..."

"We don't have to go if you don't want to" he said, standing up from your bed and walking towards you. You smiled at him through the mirror as you finished applying your makeup.

"It's okay. I told your mum we were coming and she was really excited that we were all going to be there" you told him. "It'll be fine" you assured him. "Ready?"

Draco nodded, walking closer to you and wrapping an arm around your waist before he apparated you both to the Malfoy Manor. You started noticing these little things that changed between you and Draco. It was a small change, maybe someone from the outside wouldn't even notice, but you had become a little bit more affectionate towards the other without even meaning to.

"Ready?" Draco asked you as he offered you his arm so you could go over to the living room where you could hear the noise of all the guests.

"Yeah, let's just get this over with" you said, grabbing his arm with a small smile placed on your face.
