Draco woke up when he felt the sun lighting on his face. He frowned his eyebrows in confusion, not understanding why until he realized he wasn't in his room. And what was even stranger, was that he felt someone snuggled up to him. He opened his eyes to see he had fallen asleep on the sofa with you lying asleep on top of him. Your head was resting on his chest and somehow, his arm was wrapped around you. What the bloody hell happened last night? He remembered both of you working on his potion. You must have fallen asleep at some point. And then, it hit him. He didn't have a nightmare. For the first time in Merlin knows how long, he didn't have a nightmare. Well, that was not true. He didn't have a nightmare the night you two spent at his parent's house either. It must have been the potion, right? Why else would it be? Even if that night at his parents', he didn't take any potion. He turned back to look at you one more time and once he realized that the common denominator of both nights was you, he freaked out, pushing you off him.

"Shit" he heard you mumble when you hit the floor. He stood up as quickly as he could before you could notice you had been on the couch as well. "Did I fall asleep on the couch?" you asked, still, sleepy as you sat up on the floor.

"Uh- y-yes, you did" he said, trying to not sound as nervous. "I fell asleep on the chair" he quickly added.

"Oh" you simply said, with a yawn. "Did it work?" you asked, getting up and looking up at him with a hopeful smile.

"I'm s-sorry?" he asked still trying to process everything that was going on.

"The potion" you said as if it was obvious. "Did it work this time?" you asked again, now with a concerned look. He was rather pale and he seemed nervous. It probably didn't work. "Did you have a nightmare again?"

"Um- no- I mean, yes. I uh- it didn't work" he said, looking away. "Sorry I've been wasting your time-"

"Is not a waste of time, Draco" you assured him. "I'm sorry we haven't been able to get it right" you said, apologetically. "I'll ask Dean and Neville if there are other plants we could use... don't worry, I'll tell them is for me" you added when you saw the distress on his face. "Was it... bad?"

"Uh- n-no. It wasn't that bad" he said, with a small smile.

"Are you sure? You seem a bit upset" you said, frowning your eyebrows.

"Yeah, I'm sure... I just... don't want to be late for work" he said quickly before he left towards his room and shut the door, leaving you very confused behind.

You decided to let it go and decided to might as well get ready since you were already up. You walked back down and over to the kitchen to find it empty. You quickly made breakfast for Draco and decided to go work on your garden before going to work. Meanwhile, Draco paced around his room as he got ready, trying to calm down. There was no way that the reason why he didn't have nightmares was because of you. It couldn't be. His thoughts were interrupted when he heard something coming from outside. He walked over to the window that lead to the backyard and saw that you were in your Greenhouse and that you were the sound he was hearing. He sighed frustrated and made his way to the kitchen where he saw you had left breakfast for him. Without meaning to, he felt the corners of his lips lift a bit. He quickly pushed that aside and made himself some tea before he walked out to the backyard. He stood at the entrance of your Greenhouse and noticed you had no idea he was there. You had something on your ears and your back was facing him as you worked on your plants.

And I'd give up forever to touch you
'Cause I know that you feel me somehow
You're the closest to heaven that I'll ever be
And I don't want to go home right now

"(Y/N)?" he tried to get your attention but he assumed you were unable to hear him because of the device in your ears. So he decided to lean against the doorframe as he drank his tea and waited for you to notice he was there.
