Chapter 11

"Draco?"

You opened your eyes when you heard something coming from downstairs. You weren't sure if you were imagining it or maybe it was the wind but then you heard it again. You instantly sat up and tried to shake Draco awake.

"Hmm?" he said, still asleep. "What, love?" he said, annoyed when he saw it was still dark outside.

"I think there's someone downstairs" you whispered, making Draco's eyes open and look at you.

Before he could ask you anything, you both jumped at the sound of breaking glass coming from downstairs, making you instinctively wrapping your arms around his.

"Stay here" Draco said, getting out his wand, now fully awake.

"No, Draco-"

"(Y/N)" he turned to you once he got up. "Please, stay here, love" he said before kissing your forehead.

"You can't go there by yourself" you said pulling him back.

"I don't want anything happening to you!"

"I don't want anything happening to you either" you argued, getting up as well. "I'm coming with you!"

"Fine!" he rolled his eyes. He knew there was no way to convince you to stay. "But stay behind me!"

"Yes, love" you said, placing yourself behind him as you made your way to the kitchen, where you heard come pots falling to the floor.

Draco could identify two different figures in the kitchen that seemed to be looking for something. He pushed you behind him and turned on the lights immediately recognizing who was in his kitchen.

"BLOODY HELL!"

"OH MERLIN!" you yelled, hiding behind Draco before you recognized the two intruders. "What the hell?" you snapped and looked at Draco. "It's your stupid friends!"

"They're your stupid friends too!" Draco snapped, glaring at Blaise and Greg, who had jumped, scared, hugging each other when he turned on the light.

"No! My friends don't barge into our home in the middle of the night!"

"Hey, it's the Malfoys!" Blaise said, happily.

"Are they drunk?" you asked Draco.

"They better be! That should be the only explanation why you two idiots are barging in my home in the middle of the night!"

"I'm sorry, mate" Gregory said, walking over to Draco. "It was... sort of an emergency-"

"Yes! And you gave us the key for emergencies" Blaise said. He was clearly drunker than Goyle.

"You gave them a key?" you complained.

"You gave Longbottom a key!"

"I didn't give it to him! He used to live here!"

"He gave us a key in case you ever murdered him" Goyle said, laughing.

"Well, is not like I don't feel like it right now" you glared at your husband.

"What is the bloody emergency!?" Draco said, glaring at the other two.

"It is the worst thing that has happened, Malfoy!" Blaise said, trying to sound serious. "(Y/N)! Make us some tea!"

"She's not making you anything!"

"Draco!" Blaise said, placing his hands on Draco's shoulders and looking at him straight in the eyes. "She's back!"

That caught Draco's attention. "She's back?"

"Who's back?" you asked confused, looking at Goyle.

"Blaise's ex-" Goyle started but was interrupted by Blaise.
