Chapter 10

"(Y/N)?"

"Yes?"

"You... have already watered the Bouncing Bulbs" Neville said, shyly. "Three times."

You turned to look at the plant you were watering and saw that it was basically flooded, quickly removing your watering can.

"I'm sorry" you said, quietly.

"Are you alright?" Neville asked, worriedly.

"Yeah... I don't know" you admitted.

"What's going on?" Dean asked, walking over to you. "Is it because of what happened at Ron and Hermione's wedding?"

"I don't know!" you snapped a little at your two friends. "Sorry... I'm just in a weird mood" you said.

Neville was about to say something when you heard the bell ringing, signaling for a new customer entering the store. The three of you turned to look at the door, revealing the second oldest Weasley brother standing there. Both Dean and Neville stepped closer, standing in front of you.

"May we help you, Charlie?" Neville asked, trying to sound polite.

"Hey guys" he said awkwardly. "Actually, I... wanted to talk to (Y/N)" he said, looking at you, as you gripped your watering can tighter.

"I really don't think that's the best idea, mate-" Dean started. He had forgotten how protective Neville and Dean were of you.

"It's okay" you said, quietly.

"Are you sure?" Dean asked and you nodded. "Alright. We'll be in the back if you need us" he said, walking over to the back of the shop with Neville following him.

"Hey, (Y/N)" Charlie said, awkwardly, standing in his place.

"Charles" you said with a serious expression.

"Could I... maybe take you out to lunch?" he said, hopeful. You debated it for a moment but you knew that he needed this more than you did so you nodded before you told Dean and Neville that you would be taking your lunch break.

Once you were both sitting at the Leaky Cauldron, waiting for your lunch, you sighed and decided to start.

"I thought you'd be back in Romania by now" you told him.

"There was something I needed to do first" he told you. You simply looked at him waiting for him to go on so he did. "(Y/N), what I said to you" he said regretfully. "I can't believe I said those things to you... I am so sorry" he said sincerely. "And not just at the wedding but... before as well. I had no right to speak to you like that and I understand if you don't ever want to forgive me, but please, (Y/N), you have to believe how sorry I am" he begged. "I didn't mean any of it-"

"I know" you said quietly. "I know you're sorry, Charlie" you smiled at him. "But... you did mean it" you told him.

"No, (Y/N), I swear, I didn't" he argued.

"Yeah, you did" you assured him. "But... not for me" you told him. Charlie's expression softened, understanding what you were telling him and he let out a sad smile. "Am I wrong?"

"You're just like him" he said, looking away.

"Well, that is the nicest thing you've said to me in our last three interactions" you said with a small smile.

"I really am sorry" he repeated.

"I know" you said, nodding. "And I forgive you" you assured him.

"How can you forgive me just like that? I said horrible things to you!"
