Chapter # 34

"Hey! (Name), where have you been?!" Yuji exclaimed, waving his arms in the air like a madman.

"Yuji, what are you doing?" Nobara and Megumi, who were in a deep conversation with Yuta, acknowledged her with a nod and a muttered hello.

"We were scheming our plan for the culling games."

"I would have joined you guys but..."

"But what?"

"Well, me and Nanami are supposed to plan out the way to bring back Satoru." She whispered the last part.

Their mouths fell open, "why is it that you are informing us now?"

"Because you lot can't keep a secret in your stomachs," Nanami uttered, appearing out of nowhere, surprising the teenagers.

"Come on, Nanami, give us some credit."

Maki, who was practicing with her weapons, walked towards the group, her weapon of choice was thrown over her shoulder.
"Except maybe Maki." Maki pushed back her glasses and smirked at the devastated teenagers.

"Maki, how is Mai?" (Name) asked, turning to face her.

"She is doing alright, currently staying here with me."

(Name) smiled, "good,"

"You telling us your plan or..."

"We can't say much," Nanami said, "the only thing you need to know is that it's gonna be very risky."

"What mission so far hasn't been dangerous?" Megumi muttered.

"It's risky as in (Name) can lose her life."

"(Name)?!" Nobara exclaimed, coming to her side, "you can die?!"

"Yeah?"

"She is not immortal, and the degree of danger might be high but the prize surpasses the dangers." Nanami's face was stoic.

Nobara groaned, "don't say that with such a straight face, it sounds a tad bit more severe."

"It was nice having a conversation with all of you." Nanami walked away, followed by (Name).

"Did you talk to her about this?" Nanami asked, checking around the room they had emptied to carry out their plan.

"Yeah, I did." Nanami kept quiet, waiting for her to continue.

"She said she'll help."

"It was excepted."

(Name) grunted, "yes but I feel so guilty you know."

"Why?"

"Because she's always helping me and what I do? Shut her out." (Name) rubbed her forehead, "I hurt her, act selfish, but she still stays by my side. She is the most selfless person I know. I don't know how to thank her."

"Just tell her that to her face."

(Name) let out a breath, "you are right," (Name) faced him, "Nanami, it'll be a lie if I said this plan didn't have flaws and it can go south, and if that happens, I want you to take Arshi back to (Native country) safely, could you do that?"

"Alright, I give you my word, she'll be safe."

"When is she arriving?"

(Name) looked at the time, "soon." On cue, the door was flung open, "guys, I'm here, it took a little time as I got lost in the school. Gojo's surrogate son pointed me in the right direction."

"Do you mean Megumi?"

"Oh no, the one with pink hair." (Name) snorted, cracking a smile.

"So, what is the plan?"

"It's simple in a statement. You use your technique to stop the course of curse energy, it'll open a juncture in the door of the prison realm, I'll go inside and get Satoru, and Voila!"

Arshi raised a brow unsure of her plan, "are you sure it'll work?"

"It should theoretically." (Name) pulled out the prison realm from the pocket of her bag, "take it."

"Woah, fascinating. I've never seen this thing up close before." Arshi admired the tiny cube, her eyes fluttering with intrigue.

"Nanami?"

"Yes?"

"It's safe for you to stay as far as possible."
Nanami didn't budge from his spot, "I'll be fine."

"(Name), I think I'm ready," Arshi spoke, holding on to her treasured axe, "shall I?"

"Go ahead, Arshi." The prison realm was placed on the floor, and Arshi's axe loomed over the cube that was residing a whole universe in it.

She took a deep breath, tightening her grip on her weapon, "Here it goes..." Arshi muttered, striking the realm with a strong blow.

"Nothing happened?" Nanami took off his goggles and glanced at Arshi.

"Maybe I should strike again---"

A flash of light appeared in the middle of the room where the cube has been. The light was sharp, stinging them in the eyes, it temporarily blinded them.
A familiar restraint materialized behind Arshi, "Look out!" (Name) draped herself over her.

"(Name)!?" Arshi moved away quickly, as well as helping her up.

(Name) felt a tug at her ankle, "what the hell?" The restraint was firmly grasping her ankle and was moving upwards.

"Oh, shit!" Arshi was freaking out, as well as hugging her friend.

"Arshi, let go."

"No, I can't! It'll pull you inside!" She screamed, her voice cracking.

"That was the plan, remember?" (Name) smiled, taking her arms off of her.

"But---"

"Sorry and thanks," (Name) looked at Nanami and gave a nod.

Nanami pulled Arshi away from her, "she'll be fine." (Name) grinned, looking over at them both, "guys, if I don't make it out, take care of the kids for us, will you?"

"Of course, but if you don't make it out, I'm coming after you to beat your sorry ass, do you hear me?" (Name) laughed, "yeah, sure." With the flash of blinding glow, (Name) was gone.

The King of curses was bored, just sitting on his throne of bones. His eye twitched, a grin spreading over his face.

"Interesting," he stood up, "how come the little sorceress imprisoned herself intentionally?" He laughed strolling down his throne, his plan to burn down the world will go smoothly.

It's time to put his plan into progress.
