(Months after the culling games that we're won by (Name) and co. fairly easily with Satoru alongside them.)

(Name) looked out of the glass window of her home, the one she was going to share with her husband. The dark clouds covered the sky, making the atmosphere gloomy. She smiled, walking towards the door that lead to the master bedroom. Everything was in place, just as she has planned out. She walked out and roamed the house for any imperfections. She quirked a satisfying smile as she gazed at her new home.

Her gaze again shifted outside, she opened the door and walked out.
It was the first week of December, surprisingly, it didn't snow yet. The dried leaves make a crunching sound underneath her shoe soles.

Her nerves have been all over the place that day. She was anxious and nervous. It was, after all, her husband's first birthday with her.
She was hoping he will like the presents she has bought him. She was too occupied in her thoughts as she didn't notice a figure walking toward her.

"Hey there," she smiled, Satoru hugged her, resting his chin on her head.

"You are late,"

"Sorry, but it's your fault for calling me to this random address with a rich neighborhood."

"Haha, I'm happy you didn't get lost like a five-year-old you are."

"No insulting on my birthday," He pinched her cheeks, giving her his toothy grin, "by the way, are we meeting someone here?"

"No,"

"Then why are we here?"

(Name) grabbed his arm, "it's better for you to see." She lead him inside the house she has been looking for months. The house was cozy, He can smell the fresh paint as well.

"Who's house is this, Wifey?"

"This is our house, Satoru." She grinned at his dumbstruck face.

"What do you mean?"

"What part of 'our house' you didn't understand?" She raised her brows at him, placing her hands on her hips.

He wasn't sure how to react, so he averted her eyes to the interior of the house.
"It's... nice." She frowned, expecting more from him.

This only meant one thing, "You don't like it?" Her eyes averted to her shoes, looking as if she'll cry any minute.

Satoru felt like an idiot, normally he wouldn't shut up and now he couldn't speak as he was overwhelmed with emotions.
"No, I mean I love it!" He immediately grabbed her shoulders, her eyes were glossy, "shit, I'm sorry, I should've reacted better than whatever the hell I did."

"No, it's okay if you don't like it. You don't have to force yourself to like something just because---" he placed a finger on her lips, shutting her up.

"No, I honestly love this, (Name) but I'm just surprised you'll do something like this..." He gently placed his palm on her cheek, and (Name) nuzzled closer to his warm hand.

"So, you like this place?"

"No, I love it." Satoru hugged her, "I'm sure this house cost a fortune. I'm curious why you'll spend so much?"

"Silly, isn't it obvious? It's your birthday." She shyly looked away, "and I love you."

Satoru's mouth fell open, a pretty pink covered his cheeks and nose, "you don't know how long I've been waiting for those words, (Name)." He chuckled, licking his suddenly dried lips. He felt like a teenager, who just found out his crush likes him back. In this scenario, his crush was his wife and he was no longer a teenager.
