Yanfei's POV
I start to wake up in my bed. I'm a bit confused why my alarm isn't going off though. I have a picnic date with Hutao today at 10 AM and I can't be late or else I'll be super embarrassed!!
I sit up and check the time. " 10:15!? Oh gosh I overslept again!!" I scream as I rush to get ready.
Timeskip..
I finish getting ready and grab my keys. I check the time again. "10:30" oh gosh. I start running to the spot where we agreed to meet up wishing that Hutao would still be there.
Hutao's POV:
Where is she? Did she forget? Maybe she's just late. I ponder wether I should leave or stay a little longer. As I was lost in thought, I hear a voice. "Hutao?! Thank God your still here!" The voice says. I turn to see Yanfei panting. She probably ran all the way here. "Hi Yanfei. I thought you forgot our date for a second there. I'm glad to see you here--" I was cut off by a plethora of sorry's and apologies for being late. I gently reassure Yanfei that I'm not upset. She calmed down and we ate our food. " How do you like my cooking, Yanfei?" I ask, a little nervous. "I love it! It's so yummy !!" She says. I smile in relief and the rest is history..
