Evan was still waiting for someone to come and get him and tell him what was going on or at least let him leave. He checked his watch and sighed loudly, the only person to hear was the man sitting at a single desk busy working on his computer.

"I've been here an hour," Evan complains. "Any chance I can go home now?"

"Kyle wants you to wait here," the agent says with a Texan drawl, looking at Evan. "He has a few more questions for you." He turns back to his computer.

"He's an intense guy," Evan says. He lifts his shoulders and gets up. "I barely know what this is," he ambles around, eyes not missing anything that might be useful. He didn't feel things were quite right here. "I mean, 'Personnel Only' everywhere, labs on lockdown. Seems like a lot of activity to catch one target." He walks up to the man at his desk slowly. "I mean, unless this is more than just the apprehension of the creature..." He trails off, having set the bait.
The man doesn't do anything but lift his eyebrows slightly and continue to type. Evan stares at him and then he chuckles, "I get it! You don't even know yourself. I mean a man at your level you probably have to ask permission to go to the bathroom."

The man purses his lips.

"What am I even talking to you for?" He was going to get this man out of the way somehow. "I mean, you are a Muirfield man right? Believe in the mission and all that?"

"You don't know what I believe," he says to Evan, after a small dry smile.

"What do you believe in?" Why did it feel to Evan like this agent wasn't as 'interested' or rather 'invested' as the others?

The man stands and walks around his table. Evan watches him. "You should take a seat."

Pushing his tongue into his cheek, Evan turns and walks back to the chair he had been in earlier. The agent scoffs and then he looks at the 'Personnel Only' door fleetingly and back at Evan. "I'm going to the restroom," he picks up his walkie. "Don't go anywhere."

Evan watches him walk to a door leading out of the waiting room, give him a look and then push the door open. When he is gone, Evan frowns and thinks about what the agent just said. He gets up and runs to the desk, trying to see what the agent was working on. Everything in the file was crossed out with black marker.
He spots the labcoat over the agent's chair and a card sticking out of its pocket. A key card?
Evan takes it and rushes to the door, opening it with the card. It leads into a long hallway and he turns left. Looking around as he walks down the hallway, he notes all the names and number on the locked doors.
He stops at one that says 'RECORDS' and unlocks it.

There's something going on here...I can feel it...It's all just too secretive and too creepy... Evan thinks as he paws through drawers trying to find something, anything. He then remembers Vanessa Chandler's case, how Catherine is involved, and then he starts looking for anything on Chandler. And he finds it, with 'secret' and 'expired' on it. So she was an agent? Active means alive and Expired means dead?
Another crossed out file it is too. Nothing very telligable except for a few lines here and there. Between the pages he finds an envelope with Vanessa's name and surname and a transfer number. He opens it and takes out the page inside, reading the information, his eyes widening with every word.

"Someone wanna tell me why an empty building has more volts coursing through it than the Pentagon?" JT asks, looking down at his tablet. They's narrowed the search even more to this building with Tess's help and all three were sitting in Cat's car, looking at it.

"Looks like Muirfield is up and running, half the power's probably feeding that fence," Cat says, her gaze pointed in said fence's direction. She lets her sideview mirror fold in and looks at them.
